Anyways while I didnt check liquor or wine pricing I did make a bee line to the craft beer section. They have a few things I like but are not stocking anything but the strong basic big brand sellers. Nothing craft creative here and they dont come anywhere close to Pops for selection. I really have no need to come back here unless its for my Delicious. It is next to the Big Y and near Target so they will get traffic maybe they would be open to some suggestions.

For quite a few years there was a wine store of this name next to Roche Brothers that also carried…read morebeer. I never could find what I wanted either way and always wondered how the heck they survived. Then a few years ago a section inside of Roche Brothers was carved out and that store moved in. Same issue. The offerings were not up to snuff unless you pretty much like Bud and Bud Light etc. I always knew there was potential in the space as there is tons of foot traffic for groceries every day, all day. Well I am pleased to announce that a great guy named Ramon " like the noodle" has bought the store and is working really hard at upgrading the offerings. From what I see it can be a go to beer and wine shop not just as a convenience when your getting groceries but as a pull in for just that. No liquor just beer and wine for now. Ramon has a great personality and asked me what I would like. I told him a good affordable12 pack is Stone Delicious. He said come in Saturday I will have it. Lo and behold he did indeed get it in stock as well as pallets of other craft beers and seltzers which filled the long vacant middle of the store isle. Now it looks like a legit "packy" where you are bound to find something good you'll like and of course by combining your grocery shopping you can save a stop. I told Ramon for being so accommodating to me I would help him out and so here it is, his first 5 star review. He promises to sell cheaper and at $16.99 ( plus deposit) for a 12 pack of Stone I'm happy. Next time your on Rt 138 near Roche Bros stop in, grab some steaks for the grill and check out Ramon's beer and wine store selection. You will be pleasantly surprised.
