They have nearly any drink you desire and lots of beer choices. The inside is cozy and comfortable. What's really cool is their outside patio area. It's a heated and covered tent like area. In the back patio, there's a bunch of seating to accommodate the masses. They do have bands on occasion. There was a bonfire lit up last night and it is a cool place. They do allow dogs in the back outside seating area and are usually busy. Additionally, they do have a handful of the video gaming machines if you like to gamble. Ortmanns is a place to hang out, relax and to just have fun. We go there quite often.

My Manhattan was perfect, as was my husband's Old Fashioned. And my Italian sub was so good I was craving it again two days later. My husband also enjoyed his club. The only problem was, we live an hour away so I couldn't just jump in the car and go pick up an their sub whenever I wanted one. Our server and the owner were both great, the restaurant was spotless, they let us linger, and we truly had the best time. If only there was one closer to us! But this is the kind of place we'd drive out of our way to visit, so I'm guessing we'll be back up in Woodstock to visit them again one of these days!

I was bummed because it was otherwise cooked well...but I couldn't eat it (had about 1/3 and left it -- mentioning to the very kind waitress that it was almost inedible-- which it was. My kids & wife seemed to have decent meals, but that item (if it wasn't just cooked wrong -- and I think that may have been the issue) shouldn't be on the menu unfortunately We might give it another try before writing this place off...I want to see the Square restaurants & shops do well...but right now I can't recommend

A lot of beers and burgers on the menu. There's also some other stuff. Came here looking for some food and fun. It's got plenty of both along with some other things about it. This can get pretty crowded especially weekends. Come and hear live music. Has a big ass stage outside. A lot of beers on tap, and plenty more in bottles and cans. It's about $12 for a basic cocktail, whiskey with whatever. Could be cheaper. The same thing for the food. It's about $16 for a burger. You can substitute a black bean patty. A lot more things on the menu. There's also the seafood and steaks among other things. Has some pretty generous hours. It's located on the southeast part of town on Lake Avenue at Martha. This place gets packed on weekends.

Our server was awful and it almost seemed like she was trying to get us to leave. Even when we wrapped and were walking out we were totally ignored. The sort of situation where I regret leaving a tip.... Hope the next time is better as it typically is.
