A solid 3.5 star spot that I'd rather give 4 stars instead of 3. Once you get past the aloof squad…read moreof young servers and the semi-slow service, the wings here get the job done, as far as chains go. I had actually never been to a Wingstop before, not even in the US, so I don't know how the Mexican version compares. Maybe the Mexico version of Buffalo Wild Wings boasts bigger restaurants and more of a sports bar atmosphere, but Wingstop does exactly what it promises, a quick stop to satisfy that wing craving. This second location of Wingstop in Querétaro is inside the new shopping center in Ave. Candiles near Prol. Constituyentes. The place is clean, at least it is in the early evening, and the ambience tranquil. A good stop for wings in the area.

Just asked for a some of everything, tacos y gringas. Enough to feed the 3 of us. Everything was excellent , 2 sauces both roja y verde on the table along with limes. I bookmarked it mentally, but it wasn't until our last few minutes of our vacation that Jamie W and I finally tried it. We decided to pick up a couple of sandwiches to eat at the airport before our flight. Since it was a 90-minute drive to the airport, we figured the sandwiches would keep during the road trip. We were right. Fortunately, they opened just as we entered the shop at 9AM. The menu was not only in Spanish but quite robust. There was a multitude of selections, so we were on Google Translate for a while. Jamie decided on the MX$75 Torta Vegetariana, a meatless option with mushrooms, queso blanco, shredded lettuce, and avocado in a Talera bread roll (Photo 9). He was pleased with his choice and particularly impressed with the soft airiness of the toasted bread. As for me, I relied on Google AI to help me winnow down my selection to the MX$95 Torta Poblano. I understood the popularity because it contained chicken Milanesa (breaded chicken), melted queso fundido, chile poblano, lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, and cream. It was all encased in the same Talera bread roll and genuinely satisfying (Photo 7). We were lucky to find an open bench outside the terminal and devoured the tortas in no time. FOOD - 5 stars...tortas that really satisfied after a long road trip AMBIANCE - 4 stars...simple space that was obviously empty at 9AM SERVICE - 4.5 stars...really efficient, tortas were well packed TOTAL - 5 stars...could go for another one just about now RELATED - Exploring San Miguel de Allende? This is a no frills torta place, so don't be expecting the Waldorf-Astoria, but if you're looking for a cheap and super filling torta, this is your place! Do not miss their aguas frescas. My favorite is the watermelon, but the cucumber one is amazing, also the mango, the strawberry, all delicious. The parking sucks because it's San Miguel de Allende. They have like 3 spots directly in front of the restaurant and some of the adjacent restaurants don't open until late afternoon and have spots available. They have their own motorcycle delivery crew, too. So if you're not really up for fighting to find a parking spot, just have them delivered.
