This is the only Winndixie that I have seen closing and blocking their doors before the closing time. 10 minutes before closing time they had the main enclosed and when I entered the other side,the manager basically kicked me out. I am not sure where the bad reviews come from. I love this store. Always friendly staff, well stocked and clean.

I've tried with this store. The prices are high, but moreover, it has legitimate Walmart vibes. The employees aren't friendly and seem miserable (meat department people we have dealt with are great, tho). Overall, it is depressing. My partner and I went yesterday, and the person corralling carts in the parking lot nearly hit us. As my partner was opening the door for me, the employee legitimately almost ran into my car door with the carts. If my BF hadn't held his hand out, raised his voice, and said, "Give us a minute," it would have ended differently and I really think he wouldn't have stopped. Visited today, and the prepared sandwiches in the cooler all had wilted lettuce. I got back in my car and went down the road to Publix. Night and day. This Flagler Beach Winn-Dixie really needs to step it up if it wants to compete with the Publix down the road. Today was my last time to try here. read more

went to buy eggs, empty shelves and cartons opened with broken eggs. The shelves had dried up egg spills.. This is not only disgusting but a breathing ground for bacteria. I did speak to mgr who did not act too concerned. I will never buy anything there again, very unsanitary. read more

I went to the checkout at this Winn-Dixie at 4 PM on Friday, April 30, 2021. A new cashier, Andrea, was just taking over for a fellow whose name begins with a "B." It was difficult to check out because the fellow who had left, left without cleaning the rolling area where one is supposed to put their food for scanning. I had a terrible time trying to find even just one small area to put my purchases down because it was absolutely filthy - I mean really, really filthy. I mentioned it to Andrea (she didn't have time to clean it up once that fellow left) and she apologized. Do believe Winn Dixie should have someone in charge that is responsible for keeping the check-out areas clean. It was completely disgusting!!! read more

This is a very clean (almost spotless!), well organized grocery store. Corporate WD should be quite proud of this place and, in my opinion, hold this up as a standard for all other stores. The workers here are very friendly, almost all of them greeted us with a big smile and a "Hello". The produce section was well stocked and smelled great. The deli and bakery section were very impressive. The aisles were logical and well thought out. There was no "hunting" for items, they were were they were supposed to be. The ads and specials were posted clearly above/next to the items on sale/special and made them very easy to find. If we had a Winn-Dixie store like this nearby (I live in Riverside, JAX), I would shop at WD more often. As it stands, the closest one (on Normandy) is, IMO, no where near as nice as this one in Flagler Beach. read more

I ran in real quick for something but couldn't find it. I saw an emoyee named Alyce who was helping two different people. She showed the woman what she needed and walked the man to what he was looking for and then turned to me and helped me as well. She was busy but not too busy to help. The customer service here is fabulous. When ever I can't find something their is always someone to help. The girls at the registers are equally friendly and courteous. The deli department not so much. Just depends on who helps you. The store is clean and always well stocked. read more

Getting worse over the years. Not as friendly or clean as they used to be, as we've encountered a lot of rudeness from the staff over the past few months. We recently visited the bakery and the service wasn't very good. The ladies behind the counter were more interested in gossiping about someone than serving us. We felt maybe we were asking too much by placing a cake order since they admitted they don't have much skill in decorating cakes, and recommended we pick a predecorated cartoon cake from the catalog book. They started carrying french macarons though, and they're actually really good. read more

Very bad customer service. Went to the deli this evening and the employees were just gossiping with each other. The female employee muttered under her breath, " please stop looking at me". I was just looking to see if anyone would help me. Then as I walked by the meat department, the employees were doing the same thing. They were just arguing and complaining to each other. read more

Our visits are usually pleasant; however, on 9/4/2013, morning we waited at the deli for 20 minutes before being waited on. The women were gossiping about other employees. It was all negative. The woman in the bakery and the woman in the deli were talking back and forth about midnight shift baking to much foods, the meat slicing not being cleaned properly, yak yak yak etc. The deli employee was assisting a customer and gave the wrong amount of food. The customer questioned it and the deli worker said the customer was wrong. Finally, the bakery worker came to assist us, they were still gossiping. They were to busy gossiping that the customer was overlooked. I asked for thin slices of ham. When we arrived home and separated the meat some slices were ragged. Why do they feel the need to BLAST AWFUL MUSIC AND COMMERCIALS over the PA system? It's so loud that even the employees can't hear you or you hear them when you are trying to order at the deli or other departments. I have asked several times if they can lower the volume but they always give a lame excuse. I hate shopping there for this reason. read more

as crazy as this sounds you have to try the wing bar there they are outstanding make sure you buy them around lunch time when they come out
