Hello again. I try to keep up on posts. I suppose that this goes for all of the stores. I have not been able to find SEG brands of yogurt in any of the stores. I talked to the manager about so. She told me that "corporate" has decided not to send any store their SEG brands yogurt. I thanked her and also told her that if that is the case? I am NOT going to buy any yogurts that they do carry. Far too expensive. We all need to let the store managers know that this is NOT a good decision. read more

They're prices definitely are competitive. My only complaint is that I wish this store was as big as a Walmart super center. I only really go to Winn Dixie when I have multiple stops to make, otherwise I just go to the Walmart super center. Their prices almost match Publix and Target (meaning Walmart isn't great with saving money anymore) but it's convenient - one store for everything versus multiple stops I would have to make because Winn Dixie doesn't carry everything I need. To put it simply - its a great store with great savings but small and doesn't carry everything I need to be a 'one stop and I'm home' store. read more

This Winn Dixie used to be a Sweetbay for a short time. It's an average sized Winn Dixie that has all of the grocery essentials that one might need, but perhaps less of the promotional/seasonal items that you might see at the large stores. It's always kept clean and organized, and it's much less busy than the Publix across the street. If you just need a few things and want to be in-and-out quickly, this is a much better bet. I think they are high priced, but recently they've dropped some prices and stayed low. Getter better bogo deals. Just check the prices.

- Meat Prices - Courteous Staff We usually go here for the meats. They are fresh and at a better price than publix and sometimes Sam's Club. The fruit and veggie section has a little to be desired from. It lacks variety and sometimes freshness. Most of the time I will go here for my shopping and jump across the street to Publix for salads and fruits. The staff here are always smiling ... never met personnel that wouldn't help. It is a nice place with great sales. If you're looking to save money ... check out the online flyer first. However, they sometimes they have surprise sales so always check the meats for the great deals! read more

Hard to find someone to help while in store to direct person to desired item, and when told where to find it, we're left feeling stupid for asking the question. The person re-stocking frozen/refrigerated items (near cheese and ice cream) during almost every visit refuses to move obstructing cart so customers can get at desired purchases. He's totally oblivious. Pisses me off, yet no one to complain to and if I ask him to move the cart he just ignores me. However, overall I have to give this place a good rating because of their consistently friendly associates, especially Jason, the service desk personnel, and the cashiers. Too bad there aren't enough baggers, and the poor guy collecting carts is overworked. read more

I love this store. Great sales, very friendly staff, fresh meat and produce, love the parking, and it's usually not teeming with people when I go. The rewards program saves alot of money as well. read more

I just finished reading the other reviews of this store. Wow! I don't think I'm shopping at the same store they are. We've been in Florida for almost 20 years and have tried them all - including the ones that went out of business. We always came back to Winn-Dixie because of the quality of the meat and the prices on everything else. Even without sales, they beat Publix quality, and I wouldn't go to Wal-Mart for meat if they were giving it away. In my group of friends I am known as "thrifty", and this store is the best bang for your bucks. We used to go to the store on the corner of Rt. 19 and 50 in Brooksville, but a year ago we moved to Spring Hill, so am now going to Spring Hill Drive and Mariner store. I have never had a problem asking where an item is located, and find the staff to be courteous and helpful. I have always found that if you are nice to people, they are nice to you. I really wonder if the people leaving negative reviews just want to have an audience. Now that we are in Spring Hill, the store is only 5 minutes away (I timed it) - saves me gas. read more

I have almost stopped shopping at Winn-Dixie because of all the hoops you must jump through in order to think your saving money. BOGO'S are a joke. They price their specials at more than double the avg price then give you a buy one get one offer! They import low quality meat and call it Ranchers steak for a low sale price per lb. It's USDA INSPECTED but not graded. Probably UTILITY GRADE which is the lowest. They always have gimmick such as THE PLENTI CARD! where you have to go online to activate your discounts first, and the rules constantly change. I have to pay close attention when they ring up my groceries to make sure the correct price is being charged. They have many errors with their pricing errors. You can never find the price of an item on the shelves. It either missing or items are in the wrong place. They expect a 65 y o person to get on their hands and knees to find a price on bottom shelves. So I have decided to only buy specials if I happen to be able to shop on the "SPECIAL" days they are on sale, like weekends only or 1 day only sales. I really try to avoid shopping there because of their questionable sale practices. Have you ever bought a piece of meat that looked great in the package then get it home and when you finally decide to cook it, the other side is full of fat and sinew? That is false advertising, Half the time they have a good sale price on meat and when you get there they don't have it because the truck was late or it wasn't on it or come back Thurs for the next truck! My time is more valuable than to chase sales 3 days a week. read more
