This store needs to be called out for blatant profiling. The second my wife and I walked in, staff were eyeing us like we were criminals just because I'm Native (and I'm not just playing the race card here on this one because I seen a little white woman filling her purse and didn't get stopped by security when the alarms went off when exiting) and we also both have tattoos. We weren't doing anything wrong, yet we were followed around and treated like thieves. It's 2025 -- there's no excuse for this kind of discrimination. We came in to shop, not to be judged and humiliated. Treating customers this way is disgusting and says a lot about how this place operates. I'll never spend another dollar here, and I hope other people think twice before supporting a business that treats people this way. read more

I have been in here once or twice before my most recent visit. On my most recent visit I was mostly just browsing and hoping to stumble across one or two things I was seeking but I wasn't terribly concerned whether or not I'd find something. Serendipitously I did indeed find some socks that I liked and was able to purchase them quickly. The store was pretty empty at the time. The store itself is clean and less busy than some of the other Winners stores that I've visited in the past. read more

This Winners is small and it never carries much stock. I'm always disappointed. For such a brutall cold day, there were lots of customers. Even so, my order was rung up quickly by the greatest cashier I've ever had. I left with a bag of goodies. Mostly ladies undies. They had plenty of that stuff. I like the location, but I'll probably shop at the WEM next time. read more

Always a big fan of Winners. This location in the Brewery District is upstairs from Loblaws City Market. This location has a bit of a posh feel. My kids love riding the escalators here and of course Momma likes the underground parking in winter. The store itself if your standard Winners with a few more of the higher end items as noted by other Yelpers. I can always find a great gift here for anyone in my life, not to mention few too many things for myself. There's always a good assortment of snacks and treats at the cash wrap that catch my eye. And good add on items for gifts or gift baskets - think on the more boutique end of treats (not doritos or candy bars) like terra chips and salted chocolates. Two thumbs up :-) read more

The cosmetics/Beauty department section needs attention. I've bought completely dried out liquid eyeliners that were unusable. Be very wary of buying red tagged items in cosmetics. They have a section that includes a lot of broken and smashed eyeshadows blushes etc. I don't think any store should be able to sell products "as is" in cosmetics. Some of the "as is" prices are barely marked down. So basically you're getting a slightly discounted broken product. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt here and suggesting that possibly products were dropped or arrived broken? Staff is instructed to put them out anyway? Regardless of the reason, they shouldn't be put on the shelf if that's the case. I've seen way too many overpriced broken, missing products in their unmarked discount shelf section. How can you sell an eyeshadow or blush product that isn't in its case & you can visually see it's broken? If someone dropped it fine, don't put it on shelf marked down. Sometimes you can't always tell it's broken until you look inside. You shouldn't have to look inside. I didn't think you were supposed to look inside products because of Covid safety issues...?? Just because a product is marked down a couple of dollars from the original price doesn't mean that it's okay to sell a broken product. Purchased a hair conditioner marked down only a couple of dollars. I got it home & discovered the product's seal was gone and it was missing a quarter of the product! It didn't feel like it was missing any of the product until I unscrewed the top and felt the difference in weight. You can feel the difference between a product that has all of it in its bottle and one that doesn't. Unfortunately this cannot be noticed until the cap is off and the air is let out. I am assuming it was a returned item and they just put it back on the shelf, marked down. another thing you shouldn't have to do is check to see if the product is sealed. A facial product to massage face wrinkles/wrinkle prevention didn't list what type of battery it require. I asked staff if they knew what type of battery it took. She opened it up and and said "I think it's a double A or triple A. Bring it back if it doesn't work" Once home, I looked at it more carefully and realized there was a spot on the box in the shape of a battery but it was just an empty little bubble... Which led me to realize the reason the battery wasn't listed on the box was because it was included. Usually products say battery included but this one didn't. There was definitely was a space where a battery once was. It may not be a big deal but the product was $20 bucks. Did someone use it before I purchased it and kept the battery? Was the battery just simply missing? Im confused where some of these products come from. If you look up some product labels known and unknown online there are often variations. Ingredients and the boxes they're in. Some labeled products are exactly the same but not all. Some products online seem to come with a box but at winners they don't necessarily have one. What's with that? One product I purchased had the exact same ingredients as the ingredients listed on the "label's" website but the product from winners had one ingredient that was listed in a different order. Very odd. The product also had a different looking box even though it had the same name. I try to Google every beauty product that I buy at winners or any other store to look up information about it. Some products don't seem to exist at Winners... not all of course! I've also found a few listed under a different company altogether that is a cheaper version of the more expensive labeled product. Hence the ingredient difference? The price was astronomically different as well. One shouldn't have to do so much research into skin care products to see if they are authentic. read more

Not bad for a small winners! The store is very clean (probably helps that it's new) and has a good layout. I love Winners especially for their clothing, but I found the selection to be a bit limited at this location. Still managed to snag some jems though! The staff were also very pleasant, which is a nice change from most Winners locations. read more

This location seems smaller scale, but carries posh items almost like it's higher end counterpart (Marshalls). There's a good selection of everything from home decor, beauty, clothing, toys, etc. They've got a few designer items too at fair prices; Even their clearance section has decent finds and doesn't feel like it's been picked through. Some areas were a little haphazard in organisation though and the selection for infants/children were minimal compared to other locations. I like its overall layout & the fact that the location is in the brewery district, so it feels almost like you are hitting up a variety store while out to eat or grocery shopping, but parking can be slim at times too since the parking lot caters to many other businesses. It wasn't very busy on a weekday evening which is a plus and the cashier was pretty efficient despite being the only one at the till. read more

I love a Winners. Going into one feels like a vintage store trip in a way- you never know what you'll find. This Brewery District Winners is located upper level above City Market. You can park underground for free if it's cold, and then take the escalator or elevator up. The first time we visited I was happy to have the edition to our neighbor hood - but a bit sad it's not larger. This is a small location. A large amount of the store is dedicated to clothing. The shoe selection is better than Londonderry Mall say- but not as large as most strip mall locations I've been in. The cosmetics section is the cleanest and most organized I've ever seen! I've found a few nail polish treasures there! Very small purse and luggage section. A decent amount of children's toys- and a small amount of household decor and kitchen items. I did find a large beautiful wooden cutting block here for a Christmas gift- at a very reasonable price! There is a jewelry counter as well that looks decent sized. The staff are always very nice when we go in- however they are still learning- I did have a cashier who wasn't sure how much change to give me back. Hours are long during the week- so we often pop in in the evenings before we grocery shop! All in all not a bad location. Great if you need an outfit in a pinch! read more

New Winners alert! It just opened on the second floor in the same building as the Loblaws City Market. It's a decent size and has a good variety of merchandise. The feel is a bit different than other Winners as there are high ceilings, natural daylight and dark beams- I think they were going for a more sophisticated look. They have pretty much everything you'd normally find at a Winners - women's clothing (regular, plus size, 'contemporary' (which means designers like Citizen for Humanity, Tahari, and Rag & Bone), juniors, active wear); men's clothing; children's and infant clothing; shoes; lingerie; sleepwear; purses; lots of luggage; beauty including hair care, makeup and tools, skincare, some baby care, and more; accessories like scarves, designer sunglasses, belts; hosiery; kid's toys and other baby gear like booster seat and rash cream; home stuff like pillows, boxes, sheets; kitchen ware (though I found this section very small compared to other Winners'); a decent area for pet accessories on the back wall near the fitting rooms; a normal-sized jewelry counter with goodies like Marc Jacobs, Ted Baker, and Kate Spade watches. Actually, there was quite a bit of Kate Spade stuff there - I noticed a bunch of purses and wallets too. They had some nice beauty brands like Glam Glow and La Roche-Posay (see photos). Prices were same as other Winners, I'd say. Maybe because it's still new that it feels like there's still a lot of stuff and hasn't been picked over. I'd go again for sure! read more
