    Clearance galore right now!

I love a Winners. Going into one feels like a vintage store trip in a way- you never know what you'll find. This Brewery District Winners is located upper level above City Market. You can park underground for free if it's cold, and then take the escalator or elevator up. The first time we visited I was happy to have the edition to our neighbor hood - but a bit sad it's not larger. This is a small location. A large amount of the store is dedicated to clothing. The shoe selection is better than Londonderry Mall say- but not as large as most strip mall locations I've been in. The cosmetics section is the cleanest and most organized I've ever seen! I've found a few nail polish treasures there! Very small purse and luggage section. A decent amount of children's toys- and a small amount of household decor and kitchen items. I did find a large beautiful wooden cutting block here for a Christmas gift- at a very reasonable price! There is a jewelry counter as well that looks decent sized. The staff are always very nice when we go in- however they are still learning- I did have a cashier who wasn't sure how much change to give me back. Hours are long during the week- so we often pop in in the evenings before we grocery shop! All in all not a bad location. Great if you need an outfit in a pinch!

One of the smaller winners, but good selection of everything. Always find something to buy even if I don't need it.

As soon as we did, we were greeted by the owner herself whose name is Anna. She let us quietly browse store's selection. I looked through several racks of the cutest jackets, dresses, pants and tops. What Sanriela lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality. All clothes are made in France, and they are fabulous! I bet that any little person who gets dressed at Sanriela is very popular on the playground: ) The following brands are sold at Sanriela: 3 Pommes, Catimini, Floriane, IKKS and Jean Bourget. The clothes are nicely tailored, made from good materials and overall look very fun yet presentable. I located grey wool dress that looked like little version of Chanel dress I once saw in an online couture boutique. How precious is that? All fashion forward parents should be in the know about Sanriela. This store is where trendy children come from: )

I found Alligator Pie in Manulife place and was very curious to see what they had as there appeared to be some really cute, and quite possibly designer stuff in the windows. When I walked into the store I did find a lot of cute and designer stuff, and with cute and designer came ridiculously expensive as well. I just can't justify dressing up kids in this stuff as I don't think a 7 year old should know her Burberry from her Diesel just yet! Let kids be kids and rip holes in their clothes and wear whatever! This store is really more for parents who want to create little fashionistas. For that reason I can't give this store a good rating as I really think it sends a horrible message and isn't for kids anyways. Plus, the customer service was not wonderful the day I was in there. I was ignored for the first 5 minutes and finally asked "do you need something?" before the sales girl went back to doing whatever it was she was doing. If you like REALLY expensive clothes and don't care if you kids literally rip hundreds of your dollars up on the playground, then this is a great store for you.

Seriously, where else am I going to get my jeans hemmed for $5 ? I've never had to complain about any of her work yet. The shop is a bit crowded, cause its tiny and she's got a lot of stuff. Traditional Chinese outfits, party dresses (for women and little girls), kimono style robes, and wedding dresses too. She also sells accessories like shoes and purses. It's worth browsing around because she offers really good prices compared to elsewhere. She recently changed her hours and is now closed a bit earlier on most days, I think it's until 6 on weekdays and 5 on Saturdays, closed Sundays. But I love her for the great work she's done for me and the money she saves me, plus I like to support small businesses when I can. She definitely has my customer loyalty!

I like to support local where I can so I decided to check it out. Despite the address being on 122 St, it's actually located in a ground floor suite right on 121 St right across from the Brewery District, close-ish to 104 Ave. There is angled parking out front. It's a cute and quaint little boutique filled with treasures beautifully displayed. My favourite was a selection of jewelry tucked in between pages of an antique novel by the door (when you see it, you'll understand). There was inspirational home decor, some cool stuff like concrete diamonds, some baby and kid's clothing (including these adorable baby headbands), lots of unique jewelry, cool razors, little succulents.. It's a bit like shopping at a local market but with everything in one pretty place. There is even a little coffee corner at the back. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. I would definitely recommend popping if you're looking for some unique gifts.
