She kept insisting it was her decision to decline the exchange, although the receipt clearly states store credit or exchange past 30 days. I wasn't mad until she decided to answer the phone whilst I was explaining I already knew the terms of returns and exchanges. If the area team reads this message, I strongly recommend you connect with her on how to appropriately address customer complaints and maybe let her read the back of the receipt so she knows what hill to make a stand on. Absolutely abhorrent service.

Apparently they do, and my friend and I went to the H&M in West Ed because we figured the store and selection would be better than South Common. There isn't a huge selection of plus size clothes, but there is a bit, and H&M always has nice basics and trendy pieces too. One thing I love about H&M, no matter what dress size you might be, is the accessories. There are a lot of fun jewellery, purses, scarves, etc and the prices being pretty low it's pretty easy to go overboard and buy quite a bit. Of course the prices being so low this isn't exactly high quality long lasting items, but I tend to break, lose, rip, tear, etc. any accessories I get anyway so spending $12 on a scarf that I'll eventually lose at H&M seems better than spending $100 for a high-end scarf somewhere else. Aside from clothes and accessories the other thing H&M has that I didn't realize they carried are home decor products. This section isn't as big as the regular clothing and accessory section, but there are a variety of fun home decor items you can get, from bedspreads to aprons. West Ed isn't a place I particualrly like to go to, but if I'm here I'll check out H&M again.

As mentioned, Anthropologie is a hodge podge (I mean that in a good way) of clothing, decor and books. The clothes can be a bit over the top but the closer you look the more likely you'll find something of interest. The cool thing is they also have kids toys and housewares. It's almost a one stop shop. Another dose of reality is their prices. They're on the high side, but like many things in life you get what you pay for. Often times you can find the decor items at a better price, but by the time you find (if you even do) you'll likely have spend that much in time and effort. If you have eclectic tastes go here and have a feast of eye candy.

They have a wide selection of sizes, from XSmall to 3X. I'm about a size 24/3X and some of their 3X items are almost too big on me, which always makes me smile. The staff treats me with the same respect they give small to average size women, which in my experience doesn't happen often in a plus/regular mix size store. Along with clothing, they have accessories, fun items like socks and sweets, and a wall of personal care items like bath bombs, body cream, hand sanitizer, and aromatherapy. The owner, Laura, is an amazing member of the community who supports other small businesses and brought joy to my family at a rough time when we were missing a loved one. She wasn't asked, she just offered and we will always be thankful to her for her act of kindness.

I grabbed a handful of clothes and the saleslady started a fitting room for me. When I tried them on, I went to grab another size as I'm sure she was busy with other customers. I decided on a suit and went to pay. I was returning a top, so she had to get the manager to ring in my sale. When I was in the line up, I saw at least 2 other sales staff on the other side of the store who were standing around. It would have been nice if I received some service while in the fitting room. For a top, pants, and suit jacket it was just over $200 which is quite reasonable for something I know will last years to come. In this shopping experience the price was good but the service wasn't. It seems to be the trend these days.

Garage is an OK place to shop…read more I got one of my favorite hoodies in the world there! It's one of the long ones (the kind that almost goes over your bum) and it's fitted so it's super cute. I got it on sale and I wear it all the time! Usually when I think of Garage, I think of summer clothes. They always have cute tank tops and shorts. I never go there in the winter or fall unless I happen to be in the store beside them for that reason. And, in all honesty, that hoodie is the only thing I've found there for a season other than summer. Their prices are decent and they usually have quite a few good sales in the store.

The associates handled everyone graciously, worked well to run back and forth to get different sizes, moved everyone through quickly and efficiently, and are clearly well trained to ensure proper fittings. Despite just how busy they were, the staff were ALL courteous, attentive and very personable. The clothes sold here are just as fantastic and equally expensive. Blu's carries their own brand of clothes manufactured in Canada as well as brands such as Hugo Boss, Burberry and Anne Klein. Although the selection is not very big, all items are carefully selected, and look elegant and posh. Some of the clothes are geared towards older women but most of the items are for modern urbanites. In addition to clothes, Blu's sells belts, hosiery, gloves and scarves. I wish Blu's did two things: have more sales and improve the quality of customer service. Sales ladies ignored my presence every single time I was there. That's unacceptable for a place that sells such upscale and elegant clothing.

Located just south of the Edmonton city cemetery and literally behind (north) of Oliver Square. It can be a little tricky to find the first time. I have friends that have found some fabulous treasures here in the clothing liquidations but I haven't found that hidden Easter Egg yet. The layout is kinda like a thrift store but way less organized. You need time when you come here to sort and sift through the garbage to find the gems. Also, sign up for their email online for advance notice of sales and coupons. It's a fun little liquidation warehouse but it could be improved significantly with better organization and layout.
