Called Discovery and over the phone Jackie gave me a couple of things to check. Finaly called them back and Discovery gave me the pickup and hourly rate charge and scheduled the pick up. They called me and said the batteries that had been installed had numerous problems and they were going to submit to the battery warranty company for replacements. If denied the cost would have been $1500. All I can say is that Discovery Golf Cart took the initiative and got the replacements at no cost to me other than the pickup and small maintenance fee. If this review were based solely on their customer service, I would easily give them 5 stars. Land o Lakes sold me the cart. Unfortunately, once I got home and took the golf cart for a drive, I discovered a significant issue. When trying to maintain a steady speed, the cart continually surges forward, then slows down, and repeats the cycle. It will not hold a consistent speed at all. Even when I push the pedal all the way down, it continues to do the same thing once it reaches the speed limiter. For clarification, this is not my first golf cart, so I am familiar with how they should operate. I am extremely disappointed that my first experience with this company and this brand has been like this. Having a brand-new cart that cannot maintain a consistent speed is frustrating and, quite frankly, unacceptable. I hope this issue can be addressed quickly because, as of right now, my experience with the golf cart itself has been very disappointing. I will be posting a YouTube review tomorrow

After weighing the options and experience we had at different places, we landed on decision of this place. We went ahead and purchased a cart and asked them to store it for us until we could close on our new home in a week. That week turned into six weeks before we could take delivery. The dealership was nice enough to store it for us and when we were ready for delivery, they delivered it to our new home exactly when we wanted it. The cart was detailed before delivery and the person who delivered it to us gave us a demo on everything we needed to know. Overall, we had a great experience.
