The "just right porridge" being Molly as a knowledgeable, positive and encouraging trainer, the "just right chair" being quality, smart, responsive lesson horses to learn from, and the "just right bed" being a wonderfully maintained facility. They have a great community of talented riders and horse lovers. You can tell the horses get so much love. This barn is laid back, safe, and price wise more than reasonable. It's the perfect place for beginners all the way to the most advanced riders.

She also helped me locate and purchase my horse out-of-state through her wide range of connections. She is a lovely person inside and out who will work with both junior and amateurs alike in any capacity to achieve his or her goals. Canon Ridge as an equestrian center excels in personalized horse care and amenities that are second to none. Every aspect of boarding and training here is tailored specifically to each rider and his or her horses needs. What I love most about boarding here is that the atmosphere is very professional, but relaxed at the same time. Between Lee's exceptional training, Oscar's kind, thoughtful care of each horse each and every day and the property owner's graciously sharing their astounding property with us, I wouldn't board anywhere else.

Only outhouses available. We powered through because there were 2 other people in our group and we won't be party poopers (pun intended.) If I remember correctly, this is inside a park. Budget 30 extra minutes (+ the 30 min early check in) because the line to pay to get into the park can be really long. Hopefully the horse ride and the front check in people are able to talk soon so reservations are allowed to enter for free with your service receipt. Overall, besides the tummy ache, we had a great time.

We informed them we are beginner riders, 4 out of the 6 of us had never been on a horse and the other two had only been on a horse once many many years ago. I wish they would have told us (before the ride, not as it's happening) what might happen on the ride and how to handle it or how to calm a horse if it gets a little antsy. Over all I would recommend this place, perhaps maybe just ask a million questions before they have you get on and take off.

He moved my horses to a shared stall and run and one of my horses could not get in the stall because my other horse prevented her from coming in. Still payed the $600.00 for each horse when one had NO shelter in the winter. I expressed my concern, no offer to help or remedy the situation. The worse part is he does not maintain the road to the stable. I could barely get up the road with my 4wd truck. Huge deep ruts of snow and mud. Forget about getting a trailer in. It was impossible. Had to park on highway 73 and lead the horses down and back out onto the busy highway to get the heck out of there and keep my horses safe. Very bad situation and no help from the owner. Oh, and there are no 'green meadows' for the horses. What a nightmare.

They get turn out every day , and the runs are huge . Lots of trail access, outdoor arena and roundpen . The stall barn is gorgeous, and the barn owners are really easy to talk to .

This was my first time in Colorado and this was my favorite experience out of the entire trip! It's such a beautiful way to see the Rocky Mountains. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and will make you feel at ease throughout the ride. I did the three hour and I highly recommend it but be aware your legs and booty will be hurting for a couple of days haha!! Still worth it! When I visit Colorado again, I will 100% be booking a ride here.
