First class hunter/jumper boarding facility. Horses are very well cared for, and the staff is amazing.

Ok, after trying to get my horse boarded at the ranch, I have a very different opinion. When I…read moretoured the facility, I communicated clearly that I intended to board there. The owner said that was not a problem, and I told her I'd call back within a couple of days to make the final arrangements to move my horse there. I proceeded to call back 2 days later and left a message reminding her who I was and that we had discussed boarding my horse there. I asked that she call me back so we could confirm details and plans. Since I had already told my previous stable that I was leaving, I really needed to get all the plans in place. Again, I had let the owner know, in a face to face conversation, that I was interested in moving my horse to her barn at the end of September, and she had agreed that would work for her. However, she never returned my phone call, and she never returned any of the other calls I made over the next week. Since I couldn't very well just show up and hope for the best, I was left searching for another stable at the last second. This was made all the more stressful by the fact that I don't have a horse trailer and I rely on hiring horse haulers to move my horse, a fact the owner of A Worthy Ranch was aware of. I couldn't wait until the last minute to hire someone, yet I couldn't hire someone without knowing where we'd be going. I'm not sure what happened or why, but A Worthy Ranch left me in a very tight spot. It was quite disappointing and stressful, and it's an experience I hope to never have again. Thankfully the nice folks out at Tanglewood Ranch in Franktown saved the day by letting me board there even on short notice. Tanglewood turned out to be nicer and cheaper too, so all's well that ends well. Based on my experience, I'd strongly discourage boarding at A Worthy Ranch. If the owner won't contact you when you're trying to start paying her money, why would she contact you after you're already a customer? And if she had changed her mind and decided not to let me board there, why didn't she have the decency to let me know?

I found A Worthy Ranch on the internet and called and made an appointment. It was $45 for a one hour ride and they have a miniature horse named Tiddlywinks that they let small children ride. A ranch hand named Anna was really patient and good with children and showed my daughter how to put the saddle on the horse and clean his hooves out before the ride. We walked the horse to a small arena and Anna led Tiddlywinks and my daughter around in circles. It was calm and slow so I wasn't worried that my child would get hurt. It was a good experience and I'm glad we did it.

WOW what a time. My…read morefriend and I signed up with this company to take us on a 2 day extreme class IV/V Overnight rafting trip on the Arkansas river. We both have experience with this company from rafting the Upper Salt River in AZ. Unfortunately the water levels didn't cooperate but, the rafting company modified the itinerary to give us the best possible adventure possible. Day upper upper Browns Canyon which led to class I've and the use of duckies. Operation am not a fan but, half of our group loved them. We were then driven 1.5 hours away for our dinner and tent camping (3 miles from our put in). Ryan and Eric our guides cooked a great meal and catered to the group. We awakened to a mist and heavy fog, which we were served pancakes and sausages for a warm breakfast, and let's not forget hot coffee. We then departed at 8:30 for our trip down the Royal Gorge were we hit class in rapids, lots of class 3s, great geology, good company, lots of fun and a great experience. Ryan our lead guide and Eric did a great job for 2 days of providing us a great experience and memories. You have many choices but from a personal experience this is the best company to deal with. We are already planning next year's multi day trip.

It was our first time (any of us) doing a raft trip, and he helped make us great. We cannot sing his praises enough.
