Upside, it's fairly cheap (a few dollars cheaper than the one at Wissahickon) and it wasn't overly crowded (but then again, it had snowed over a foot of snow so I doubt people wanted to leave their homes). They do have food but based on how run down the place is and how poorly maintained the skates/ice is, I'd suggest you eat beforehand or bring in your own little snacks. It is open daily to the public from 8p-10p then afterwards it's for those who play in the local hockey league. Check their website to check for times because it does seem to change fairly often. If you're looking for a cheap place to skate and aren't picky on rental quality, this is the place for you. If you don't fit into those categories, head over to Wissahickon.
