Pros: local, food/beverage options, arcade & friendly staff (Minus the manager in pink) Cons:MANAGER is VERY RUDE! Expect an unprofessional interaction with her! Tried to explain to her about the process to get anything after entry is not conducive & recommended another option to maybe be considered . She didn't even listen to me, didn't make eye contact, couldn't care less! No feedback , just plain ghetto and RUDE!! She needs customer service training !! Also, saw her being very rude to other customers! She ruined our families evening.

This is my second time here, if I lived closer I would be a regular. The rink is HUMUNGOUS! the floor is smooth and the music was good both times I've been here. If you live in the five boroughs and don't mind the long drive you should come through..

The Rink, the largest on the east coast, and home to some of the best employees, managment, DJ's and event planners. While skating is a timeless tradition, the rink offers that with a modern flare from music to monthly events. The staff are extremely nice, helpful, and make the atmosphere enjoyable with a family like closeness. I would HIGHLY recommend spending a night here!

A bunch of the kids from my daughters school wanted to do something fun on our day off MLK day. What an amazing experience here. Literally every staff member was helpful, and super nice. It feels like a family there and we will def be back. Everyone was interacting with the guests and we are just grateful to have you close to us so we can come often. Thank you for a memorable day.

Also, outside, you do have to sign a waiver form for each person entering, and hand it to attendant at the window, inside. For Friday night open-skate sessions must pre-purchase tickets online. You'll get email with barcodes to scan at window inside. $10 per person (includes rental for roller skates or roller blades) even if you're not skating. None of the skates have 1/2 sizes. You leave 1 shoe in exchange for the skates as collateral (lol that's new to me), and you can hide your other shoe under the seats somewhere if you don't want to pay for lockers. I've never paid for a locker in my life and never lost a shoe if that helps.

OK so I took a day off work and headed here with the wife and my 2 young kids for part of our…read more"Family Day". My wife had heard they had a two hour session for young kids (my kids ages are 6 and 3) that lets them skate for an hour and a half and play on some of the games for 30 minutes. First, for the value ($6/kid with no charge for adults) its hard to argue for a better value. There were maybe 20 kids there throughout the event in total. The kids had a wonderful time learning to skate. They provide some "bars" that the kids hold onto while skating. Parents can also get skates (for free) to skate as well or are welcome to bring strollers onto the ring / walk along side their kids as they skate. The "hosts" do a good job of playing some kids games as well and even give out some little prizes that the kids love. Afterwards, supposedly, the kids usually play on the climbing nets. This day however this was not done as I suspect either they thought it was too many kids for the nets or, since they were doing some Easter theme, maybe that took its place. All-in-all though was a good time. Only drawback was some of the skates that you can borrow are pretty worn down and in need of some attention. I am taking off a star for this in hopes they will eventually update it (though I am sure its not cheap). Looks like a great place too when open to the general public. They might even have roller hockey/soccer/volleyball leagues from what I can tell. They host birthday parties but I heard that gets busy so unless you go for the "Ultimate Rental" package that gives only your party access, I can see it being very busy and congested for a normal party. Worth checking out.

My sons socks and his gray shorts were covered in dirt from crawling around in the jungle gym. We also put $20 into the token machine for games but had we had known a majority of the games were broken we would not have spent the money. We had a tough time using all the tokens. The price per game was great however so many games were broken. The ones that weren't were not even giving our tickets. The selection of toys at ticket counter were very slim and random. Not a good selection at all. There wasn't even candy for the kids to choose. Would love to see some cleaning and improvement to the arcade area. Hopefully we can go back in the future with a better experience.

As soon as you walk in you get excited because they have so much stuff! You can ice skate, do some hockey, watch some games, etc. They have this giant glass case full of trophies and you can just imagine all the memories that were made here. The prices are insanely cheap too and they also rent skates! The main issue I have, is they have a super wonky schedule for the activities you can do. You absolutely need to check the calendar online to make sure that you are able to do what you want to do. They calendar often changed too. Other than that, can't really complain!

Grundy is owned by a private equity firm called Black Bear that is buying up local rinks in order to run them into the ground. They charge $16 for one person for public skating. Shockingly, the rate is the same for kids and adults. Then they start taking some more money. Did you buy your tickets online? Of course you did. It's literally the only way they let you buy tickets. Well, that's another buck. Did you pay with a debit card? That's an extra 3.5% even though that's many times the cost that they incur. They're just taking some more money because they can. These people are bloodsuckers.
