Hotel was clean and well appointed, restaurant food reasonable if very limited. Downside is only two restaurants in village so no real choice. The owner was unhelpful and guests appeared to be a nuisance rather than a pleasure.
We bought wine which was superb when tasted at the hotel, however when we arrived back in England we found we had been given 12 bottles of a sweet red rather than the dry Reisling. On writing to the owner he suggested we visit the hotel again in order to exchange it. Ie a 800 mile trip plus ferry. No apology or offer of any sort.
IF YOU BUY WINE CHECK THE BOXES, they are not labelled since they pack them especially for you and do not label the boxes.
In summary choose a more customer biased hotel in a busier and more interesting village
