I thought I was going to have to keep my guard up from the last place but Bryan, a nurse there, was the first person my cat, Oscar, and I met and he was so warm-natured towards animals and so present and ready to meet my cat that I knew I was in good hands. Then we met Dr. Retean. What a blessing and fresh breath of air she was/is. I was so nervous and anxiety ridden and her demeanor and softness towards Oscar was reassuring. She noticed the details about him, asked questions, presented options (specific to his best needs), corrected a previous poor diagnosis regarding a bump on his tail... and on. I thought Oscar and I scored between her and Bryan... but upon leaving, the front desk women humored me by giving him SO much personal attention. It was so fun, funny, and such a great experience. Taking our pets in can be so high-stress... we don't want them to be scared or in unloving or uncompassionate hands, right? This staff will settle those nerves. We were honest that we travel a lot but were willing to cancel/ modify our plans...Filled out the application and the ONLY things the shelter manager ( Lisa) asked was about our travel and which vet we used. Meanwhile , questionable clientele came and went...but we were REFUSED the following day. As I've been extensively involved with pet rescue for decades, I understand some people are definitely not suitable to adopt, but we are not in that group.... AND-- they are hosting a "friend raiser" at a HOOTERS--- hmmm, a bit telling to whom they are targeting. If you want a rescue, there are several local agencies who better deserve your support... I know I will not donate anything else to them as I have previously.

They have my info but asked for it again. Now, a week later they won't answer the phone or return calls. Last time they canceled (after the appointment time) it was due to an injury supposedly. This time not a call at all and no response. I'm particularly upset because I got called into work today and had my husband rearrange his busy schedule to wait for him. Very dissapointed. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. Kyle seemed like a nice guy and I know many who have used his services in the past. One of them warned me of his unreliability. Too bad.

One time I went in to be told if I didn't have cash, to leave. Their internet was down. No apologies, or options. I scrambled to go get cash. I was pennies short on the 2 items. Rather than waive the change so I could take both items, I had to put one back. The next time, I went in with cash. Again, I was coldly told they couldn't take my cash, as they couldn't make the necessary change. WHAAAAT?! As a result, I had to use a charge card that I didn't want to use. Again, no apologies. So disappointing! They treated me so poorly, I will never return. This is how you go out of business. There won't be a third time. Good luck keeping your business afloat.

Cisco & I have been regular customers for several years, they know & greet him by name . We tend to stick with one favorite brand which is only carried by a few other stores in the area. I tend to always support local 'small' businesses but these ladies know their products & carry only the healthiest & best products for your furbabies! It's comforting to not have to read every label for it's 'made in' origination, knowing their products are top quality, for ex: rawhide free, no food or treats made in china, never expired & safe hardwood products. Parking is always available, the store always neat & well organized & the staff knowledgeable & welcoming. If you haven't stopped in at Pet Pantry yet, you're missing out. They not only ordered a specific product for me (Stella & Chewy frozen nuggets vs patties) but also called me last week to let me know our favorite product was running a great sale this week.
