I had a very positive experience with Everything Computers in Surfside Beach. I (clumsily?…read morestupidly?) spilled some Diet Coke into the keyboard of my MacBook Pro. I tried to dry it myself, but after an hour or so, my keyboard totally locked up. In desperation, I took it to Everything Computers. First, they tried to clean the keyboard for me, but it was totally fried. Then I authorized them to order new parts. That took a couple of days because of the impending Thanksgiving holiday. I was pleasantly surprised when the repair was completed before the promised delivery date. The computer now works great, and is way cleaner than when I dropped it off! Communication was clear, helpful, and respectful throughout the entire process.

I just moved here not too long ago, and my PC was damaged during the move. It originally had a…read morecustom water-cooling solution with hard tubing. Looking back, that honestly wasn't the right setup for my needs. The technician who originally installed the hard tubing (not from Everything Computers) was a bit careless. Jeremy handled my repair, and he explained that an AIO cooler would be more than enough for my needs. He also pointed out several other issues he found with my case and the old pump. There were also USB ports on the top of my case that had never worked since the PC was originally built. It was a prebuilt system, and I was told they couldn't be made to work. Jeremy was able to correctly wire the USB connectors to my motherboard, proving that the original builder either didn't install them correctly or gave me inaccurate information about why they didn't work. Jeremy also successfully installed a new power button and found a clean way to route an external power button outside of my case. If you've ever dealt with an external power button, then you know the hassle and inconvenience that can come with trying to find a good workaround. Overall, the repairs look phenomenal. They were also able to fix my Windows crashing issue--something I wouldn't have been able to resolve on my own. Overall, I'm very optimistic about the future of my PC and its aesthetics. I'll definitely be using Everything Computers again when I'm ready for future upgrades. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five comes down to communication. Jeremy's communication was excellent. But I had a difficult time communicating with some of the other staff members, both in the store and over the phone. Simple questions--such as the repair timeline, the names of the replacement parts, and photos that were promised but never sent--were difficult to get answers to. Those communication issues are the only reason this isn't a five-star review. Overall, I'm confident this store can take care of your computer and your biggest headaches. If you're thinking about switching from a hard-tubing water-cooling setup to an AIO and aren't sure who to trust, I highly recommend Everything Computers. Sincerely, Kody

It was a Samsung S20 that I had already had for over 5 years, and I knew it was about time to replace it, but it had been a really great phone and I liked it. I tried to dry it out overnight, but was still panicking over what I may have lost, so first thing the next morning we took it in. At first there was a lot of head shaking and it looked hopeless. There was too much damage to the phone, and it would never turn on again. Dylan popped out my SD a card and tried it in one of their computers- nothing. He took some rubbing alcohol and a brush to the metal on my card and tried again, and to my great relief, my photos began popping up on the screen. I left with my SD and SIM cards from my phone, and a little drive that he downloaded my photos onto, plus the advice to convert to an eSIM so that I wouldn't need to worry as much in the future. I ended up with the best-case scenario; even my contacts were saved. The only thing I wasn't super pleased with was that I was offered an S22 that they had there for purchase, originally $350 on the box,for $250 that day. I had just bought my oldest son an S24 for $200 a month before. Yes, I now needed a new phone, but no, I didn't want to buy a used 3 year old phone for more than it was worth. Other than that, very happy with the help I got at CPR, and thankful to Dylan for rescuing my data. I would recommend them if you need cell phone help!
