The "stroganoff" was so juicy with a rich flavor-packed gravy I wanted to bottle and take home with me. The cordon bleu was the best we've had on Switzerland. The wine list was great and we picked a delicious red from Italy. The salads were a bit overdressed unfortunately. Desserts were great with the homemade mint ice cream and cotton candy and various truffles and chocolates including a white chocolate filled with mango or rosemary white chocolate! The staff is very sweet and I know the chef and I love all of them! Their English is just fine so if you're traveling to the airport/Flughafen and want an upscale delicious meal, definitely stop by for lunch or dinner. There is an outdoor area with umbrellas but no view, which is a problem for a lot of restaurants in Zurich other than those in Old Town (Altstadt) or along the Limmat river or Lake Zurich. The interior is beautifully decorated with great art and linens. The kitchen is somewhat open but set apart enough to not disturb the guests having their fancy white table cloth meals. Make a reservation if possible because that's the way nice restaurants in Zurich do it, walk ins are readily turned away!

You've got to ask for more desserts, since their menu only has one dessert. If you ask, then the menu suddenly has three desserts. Chef de cuisine Marcus Lindner isn't just a culinary artists, but a lover of good desserts. He bombards you with friandises after the meal, including home-made macarons (filled with a Felchlin Grand Cru ganache, yummy!), marshmallows, chestnut gugelhopf, vanilla caramels and much more. The amuse bouche I'm not exactly sure what it was... it involved some red quinoa and a semi-sweet sauce, along with possibly some diced root veggies. Next followed the lambs lettuce salad with chestnuts, orange fillets and some sort of crustini. From there it was a celery soup poured over diced saffron apples. The combination of flavors was amazing and the soup was deliciously thick. Following the soup was a pumpkin "quiche" which was thankfully on the smaller side but quite rich, creamy and enclosed in such a wonderful pastry. A sprig of oregano stood out of it and complimented the autumn dish. The last savory dish was a house made spinach "root" ravioli. It was three giant ones - the pasta simply perfect and some microgreens to go along. There was optional white truffle which of course I had them put on. Happened in front of my eyes, done to taste, with a scale gauging how excessively you were going :) The dessert, a chocolate cream with some (I think) poached fruit on top was fantastic. My only regret is that I was too full to put much of a dent in it! I did the tasting with the wine pairings which worked out perfectly. Each perfectly tied to and complimenting the dish. The only ingredient listed for the quiche was cheese, but it turned out to be a broccoli quiche. Which could be nice, but was not really what I ordered. Listing the primary ingredients to a dish, so you'll know what to expect is not rocket science, people. Given the great choice of other restaurants in the area, don't expect to revisit this one any time soon.

Overall it's a very nice place with good food. Price wise, it's Swiss usual restaurant price ;) we ended paying about CHF 55 per head for a main, dessert, a bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water.
