We decided to visit the Lava Hot Springs Inn where you can get a day pass for around $10.00. You get a wristband and can use the facilities until they close. This hotel used to be a hospital during WW2 for burn victims. The soaking pools are amazing! There's quite a few with varying temps and a cool plunge pool at 44°. There is a changing room and showers if you are not staying at the hotel. Ask for an extra towel!
