The sample came back with two fungal issues so the decision was to prune heavily. A quote was prepared but when the arborists got into the higher branches, they discovered much of the tree was actually dead. It is a tree in the neighbourhood of 70 - 80 years so we decided to take the tree back to bare main trunks and remove all of the canopy. This will leave us a great structure to build a treehouse for our young grandchildren. Although we lost the tree, it will be useful for a treehouse and still has a great shape to fill the corner of our yard. I required a climber; someone who can cut down a tree without a bucket truck because they could not get into my yard. Daniel had the rope qualifications and the experience.
