This little antique mall has a nice feel to it and has some very good vendors that have some neat things. Even though it was small, I was able to spend quite a bit of time here, looking around and taking in all the items that the vendors had in their booths.

3 floors of amazing vintage and antiques at great prices! The Staff is so friendly and the whole store is very welcoming. The store has new owners which are making additional improvements such as staying open late on Friday and Saturday nights. Definitely the best antique store out of the many in Waxahachie. read more

Amazing antique mall in historic downtown Waxahachie. It's the only three-story antique mall in town and definitely a favorite of all the customers. The variety of items and layout of the store make it a pleasant shopping experience. I shop here often. read more

For the shop I give 4 stars. For the DIXIE BELL GLAZE AND WAX I GIVE a -10. I've used lots of different chalk paints, waxes and glazes that are used with chalk paint. I used to refinish and sell vintage furniture so I'm very experienced with the dark waxes and glazes. I used the Dixie Bell Manatee Gray for this project. It looks gray in the jar but dries with a blue tint. If you want gray blue then that fine. The Dixie bell wax does not bond with the paint it can be rubbed completely off. Even a few days later. You don't want that! Annie sloans wax bonds with the paint if you rub it in well. Now for the glaze. It's awful!!! It's way to dark, almost opaque. I was told to add water but even very thin it's too dark. You have to brush it on then brush it off quickly. Work very fast and be careful not to overlap your strokes because it will remove the glaze where you overlap. Don't try to do a second coat because your brush will start removing the first coat and you will end up with a streaky mess. I ended up taking a wet washcloth and wiped the whole top down then use a paint pad over what I wiped off to fix it. So therefore the glaze is water soluble even after it dries. That's really bad! I'm going to have to buy a clear topcoat to preserve what I've done. I'm worried it will again pull up or streak the glaze. I will never buy this product again. Oh and BTW the brown wax and brown glaze are very different colors they don't match at all. The paint does go a long way and the wax does rub on easily but rubs off too easily. read more

History

Established in 2022.

307 S. Rogers St. in Waxahachie was built in 1893 as part of Peter's Block extension and was originally a part of Egger City (Grocer & Hardware) through 1911 based on Railroad Trailsman Journal & Waxahachie Newspaper archives. Sometime after 1911, Oldham Hardware purchased the building and altered in the early 1920s and replaced the 2 doors and 3 windows with a centered door and 2 large windows. In 1937 JC Penny came into the building and signed a 10 year lease that would last until 1964! They hired Dallas' famous American Farmhouse architect Bertram C. Hill to overhaul the inside giving it the iconic mezzanines on the front and the back of the building going from 2-stories to 3-stories. In 2022 we took over a legacy of dealers/vendors formerly known as Old Town Village and pushing forward as With Willing Hands Antiques keeping the history of the only 3-story antique mall in Waxahachie with 50+ vendors selling primitive, vintage, shabby chic, farm house and more.
