In the south west suburb of Jindalee, badminton lovers gather twice a week, once on Wednesday night at 7-10pm and again on Sunday afternoon 2-5pm. Cost is $5 if you are a member ($35 to join as a member) and $10 for a non-member. This is by far the most social sports club I have ever been to. Everyone is friendly, not competitive and very welcoming to new people. In fact, new people are encouraged! A rostering system on a white board to ensure that everyone plays with everyone. It's a social club, so even a new person can play with someone who is a seasoned player... even learn a thing or two! I like the fact that people don't create their own games here, the experts play with beginners, and vice versa. There is always a good conversation happening when you're waiting for a game. Definetely come and check Majestic Badminton out. New courts and new floors after the flood as well, so come support the local club!

The 1 star was for the lovely women at the door very welcoming so well done door greater. From that point once seated in your restaurant went down hill from the point. As the elderly group I had with me I asked waitress do they have a seniors menu to her reply as no we do not. I then said well as they are not big eaters we will order off the kids menu as there was no seniors menu, to which waitress ran off to ask the chef for permission to do that. Waitress returned saying no "chef said no you cannot order kids menu for the group". Decision made we packed up from the restaurant and thought we would try cafe meals instead. Once again we where greeted with a no seniors meals nor where they allowed to order smaller meal option because "the chef" said no. Final decision made I packed up group of 6 and decided to take money for lunches elsewhere. We have now learnt that we will no longer be taking bus load of clients to North Lakes Sports club as an option for any meals or morning tea. Epic fail from the chef and staff. Worst customer service we have received. Very disappointing!

Here are the sessions times: Tuesdays 7:30pm 10:00pm Fridays 7:00pm 10:00pm Sundays 7:00pm 10:00pm All people wishing to play have to pay the $30 membership to the PCYC and $7 for each session. Although these courts are older ones that probably need a makeover... the price is right, the people friendly and there are 8 courts which mean you don't have to wait much between your games. They play beginner to competitive level here so it's a good mix match of different people who beginners can learn a lot from. It's a great sport, a great club and everyone is always welcome.
