Some people came thru checking IDs and people came and went in the line and another person checked tickets and another handed out cups. I was disappointed that they didn't post all their policies. I don't mind following any but just be upfront please. No outside drinks even if sealed. Bag checks. No bringing out anything you buy inside. We got in and explored the lovely space. There was plenty of room to sprawl out on the lawn or if you were lucky a breezy location at a picnic table. There was a big stage with bands playing great music, a little bit of many genres. The volume was just right. You could hear it all over without yelling to the person next to you. The trucks were circled around the location. My only regret is not having enough room in my belly to try every one of them. (Or money) I picked ones I hadn't tried before. The prices were all decent and worth the portions. I enjoyed the perfect weather and full belly. There was also a free photo booth which was fun. You got to add backgrounds and other fun details. The atmosphere to the whole event was casual and fun. The weather was also perfect. I would definately go again.

It was just way too small, which caused hour long lines for the food trucks and beer. Thompson's Point is the exact opposite. The space is enormous, and this event utilized it perfectly. The lengthy (but quick moving) line to enter made me nervous, but that was the only flaw of the event. The $10 ticket included a drink. Under the canopy were various beer and Tito's Vodka vendors that accepted $5 drink tickets. The massive lawn was surrounded by more than a dozen food trucks. A country band, followed by 90's alternative, manned the stage in front. Most importantly, there were basically no lines even though the event had hundreds (or more) people. With 70+ degree weather, it was a near perfect day. Thompson's Point is impressive enough that I'd consider any activity held there. And next year I will definitely return for Street, Eats, and Beats.
