WMXC "The Mix 99.9" is an iHeart radio station broadcasting from Foley Alabama but covering the Mobile and Pensacola area. Their tag line is "The Gulf Coast's Better Variety." I had an hour or so until an emergency weather alert punched through and then I was watching the radar. In that time, it was Kelly Clarkson and Journey and Pink and Prince that I can recall. Other than reminders during the commercials that I could take the Mix with me if I'd only download the iHeart radio app, it was fine. They syndicate for Delilah on weekends. Between the repeated SuperSure ad, the 45 minutes of commercials, and the instability of the frequency, I have unfortunately stopped bothering with listening to this station altogether. If I wanted to listen to 45 minutes of advertisements, I'd watch a NFL game on the tele. seriously. avoid like the plague. read more
