The crew 5 or 6, who were led by the owner made short work of a large 3400 sq ft house. They were in and out in about 3 hours. You would never have know they had been here. What they didn't know is that I am a retired General Contractor and Senior Construction Manager. I know the trades and have seen a lot of contractors come and go. This company is as good as it gets. My mom lives in Texas, I live in Va. English is not her native language. she called me one day asking for help because she wanted to get covers for her gutters. I used home advisor to find local businesses in Texas to get estimates. WobblySun Gutters was one of the companies that I contacted me. Doing business over the phone from thousands of miles away is tough enough but that combined with trying to ensure your elderly mother doesn't get fleeced is always a challenge. From the first phone call with Herb Veness, he put me right at ease. I don't know if it's his kind voice or his genuine kindness but whatever it was, I literally felt like I could trust this guy. He went to my mom's to give her a free estimate, I believe a few days after our initial conversation. He patiently listened to my mom and spoke to me over the phone so that I could hear his estimate. After he left I spoke to my mom and she couldn't stop telling me how much she liked him and how nice he was. We had one other quote but we absolutely went with WobblySun gutters. I called him back to let him know and we scheduled a date and time for him to start work. I let him know that my mom wanted him to be there for the job because she trusted him. When I told him this, I thought for sure that he was going to say that he had another job or that he couldn't be there but he told me that he actually planned to be there on site. Talk about customer service. The estimate was extremely fair but it was a bit more than my mom wanted to pay, she said she could do it cheaper herself but I absolutely didn't want my almost 80 to mom up on a damn ladder installing her own gutter covers! I talked to Herb and told him that I needed him to tell my mom that it was going to cost $300.00 all up but that behind the scenes I would pay the balance without my mom knowing. Herb was kind enough to oblige, true to his word, giving my mom an invoice for $300.00. Before he left my mom's house, he impressed her by speaking a few words in Korean, after he left, my mom couldn't stop talking about how wonderful Herb was and what an excellent job he and his crew did. I can't say enough great things about this man. He did a lot to allay my fears about doing business from afar and he did a lot to instill trust that he would do the right thing by my mom. He even gave her a discount Bc my dad was a veteran and Purple Heart recipient. I highly recommend this company and can honestly say that Herb is an honest, kind, caring, professional that cares about his customers.
