don't normally leave online reviews  but I feel that the people at GutterTex are quite extraordinary.  We were just looking for a quote to consider.  We were planning to replace a 25-year-old house-length gutter along the back, but had also been wanting new ones where none had been along the front.  And as long as we were contemplating pie-in-the-sky things, I really wanted gutters on long stretches of our backyard patio cover.  I love the patio, but the drip mess had been bugging me for years.  Enter Dan-O with Gutter-Tex.  I'd easily set up an appointment for the following week through the GutterTex.com website, but received a very civil email from Dan that night, saying that he'd be in the vicinity the next day and could add us if that would be convenient. Absolutely!  I think I startled him when he got here because I was saying, "Well, we need THIS, for sure, but please also write up that, and could you also write us a potential quote for this, this, and this, for maybe doing later." He wasn't here long, and he wasn't up-selling, but he listened carefully, took photos of the areas, and a few hours later, we had an email quote with photos indicating gutter placement and offering the various options I'd asked for.  One of the issues I'd been concerned about was the state of the house's fascia wood.  We'd had some of it replaced (not well) several years ago and I could only imagine what was under the leaking 25 year old gutters. Dan recommended that we get bids from roofing companies since GutterTex's focus is, well, gutters, and he felt that we could get a better price elsewhere.   We asked him for a bid anyway.  We did this because a) we had a good opinion of his honesty,  b) we'd want the replacement fascia to be what the gutter installers would need, c) we really only wanted to do this once and we really didn't want to have a lot of different contractors coming and going, and d) goes right back to a) we had a good opinion of his honesty.  He was answering all of our questions promptly and openly,  he was frank about their limitations, and he made sure we had our choice of options.  (As a side note, we'd mentioned wanting to have the house repainted, but, you know, one major expensive project at a time, so maybe we'd do it next year.  Since we were contemplating having his crew replace (and paint) all of the house fascia, Dan included a bid for us to consider of having that same paint crew paint the whole house.  The price was very much in line with what neighbors had paid several years ago, and we looked at each other and said, "Hey, the Credit Union loves us, it gets it done, what the heck?"  So they also painted our house. :) The GutterTex crews, to a man, were phenomenal - I can't praise Noe and his carpentry/paint crew (Gustavo, Nelson + William) highly enough.  They started in June, which alternated extreme heat with sudden rainstorms, and they worked their tails off.  They were polite, thorough, and very professional. Noe, in particular, had a care and interest in fixing things right which was reassuring as well as heartwarming.  The gutter-installation crew, Javier and Adrian, did craftsman-level work.  They, too, were working in 100° heat, (with metal gutters next to a hot metal roof!) but they took the time to finesse the downspouts to follow the lines of the house, and the result looks fabulous!  SO much better than we were even hoping. We've had some underwhelming experiences with other contractors, so when we say that GutterTex is great, we really mean it! We just moved into a newly built home and it built without gutters and after the first rain, it was apparent gutters were needed. I contacted 4 gutter companies, some better than others. I will say that I highly recommend Gutter Tex. The entire process was so smooth, I requested a quote from them and they called promptly, and we scheduled an agreed time to meet. Keith met me at my house and listened to what I wanted and gave his opinion on some items. He was a nice guy and I appreciated his professionalism. I requested Keith to give me a quote for the problem areas on my house in addition to the entire house. I completed this routine with 3 other contractors, Gutter Tex's proposal was hands down the most professional. They had pictures of my home and detailed the layout of how the install would be performed (gutter locations/ downspouts/splash guards) this made it super easy to visualize the install. The proposal also had both pricing options clearly described. I used this proposal while the install was taking place which was nice as there was no miscommunication. This proposal also acted as a warranty document with their terms spelled out. I like a company that is transparent. I had a contractor give me a hand-written proposal and told me that was all I needed. I had no doubts that the work Gutter Tex was going to perform would follow the proposal. To be the icing on the cake Gutter Tex was the LOWEST bidder which made me decide to do the entire house where other contractors I would have just done the problem areas. It was easy to decide to engage in business with Gutter Tex. They took a 50% down payment to purchase materials which I thought was fair and they got me on their schedule. The install team showed up on the scheduled date in a well-marked clean company vehicle. The two technicians that completed the install were courteous (I forgot their names) and they worked quickly and diligently. They had their routine down and I could see that they were seasoned at their craft as I could see no wasted activities. I was impressed to see how the gutters were formed and how fast they worked. They installed exactly what was on the proposal, there were ZERO hidden charges. On completion, they walked me around the install and all I could say was it looked fantastic. The gutters blended in perfectly with the home and I am a completely satisfied customer and would not hesitate to recommend them. I recommended them to a co-worker prior to writing this review. I got new gutters with guards, power washing, soft wash and window cleaning. They did a solid job. I got quotes from 4 different companies. Gutter Tex wasn't the cheapest, but they were close and had the best options I was looking for. A competitor charged a LOT more for identical gutter guards vs Gutter Tex, and that was one reason I went with them. The gutters were installed in just over a day and the work was very good. Javier & Adrian did the install and were very professional and communicated with me about everything, and they listened to my requests and executed them just as I asked. During last week's July 4 rain, the gutters performed perfectly, with no leaks or excess water overflowing. There was so much water coming out of the downspouts that some parts of our yard against the foundation flooded pretty good, so I had to get some temporary gutter extensions to move that water away from the house. That's not unusual at all and nobody's fault, just a massive amount of rain. We ended up having three of the downspouts go into underground drains we had put in. Now, no more flooding no matter how heavy the rain! Anthony did the power washing, soft wash on the masonry walls and the window washing, and did a great job. He was professional and talked to me about all the options. We just had new landscaping put in and I was concerned about any chemicals being used harming the plants, so they went completely chemical free. Both the power washing and soft wash does normally use Sodum hypochlorite (bleach) and they will presoak plants with water and use a neutralizer, but our plants were brand new, so no chances taken and we went with just water with some plant safe additives. With no chemicals used, neither were very effective, but I was prepared for that. A couple weeks later all the plants are still healthy. The window washing doesn't use any chemicals, rather is uses reverse osmosis water (no impurities) combined with a brunch, and dang that setup did a great job on windows exterior. It wasn't perfect, but darn close and now our dirty windows are nice a clear. I would recommend Gutter Tex to my friends and family. The whole process went smoothly. Leaving in Austin is a wonderful experience, but also have some challenges. Most of the houses are built on the slab foundation and during inclement weather this can pose some issues. We were told to water our foundation at the drought spells but I was having problems with a puddles of water collecting on the side of my house when the rain water was gushing down the roof above my kitchen window. Shearing my concern with friends I was recommended to speak with Dan -O, owner of the GUTTER*TEX. I reached out to him and explained my concern. Dan came himself to my house in the Van with the Company's Logo on the vehicle and presented himself in the very professional manner. He evaluated my house and we discussed what should be done to improve my property by installing gutters on a portion of the house. The same day he emailed me a written estimate with the contract to be signed if I am to consider his company to install gutters on my house. Processing documents was extremely easy and convenient. I did hire Dan-O with GUTTER*TEX to carry out agreed on contract. On the scheduled day his crew (Trip and Chris) arrived in the company vehicle so I had no doubt who is entering my property. After very professional introduction they went over the proposed worked to be done and begin work. I knew I was in good hands. After job was completed I was by asked to visually inspect completed project. My property was left clean with all debris removed. Gutter Tex runs a great operation from start to finish. I have used them on my primary residence AND my rental property. I was impressed with all parts of their business. Keith came by (exactly on time!) and provided an extremely detailed bid which included photos of the existing gutters with notations showing exactly what was to be completed. The digital bid emailed from Gutter Tex was much more detailed than any other bid I received which gave me confidence that there wouldn't be surprises or additional costs on the day of install. It was easy for me to adjust the bid to add and subtract several optional features of the new gutter system. Then Javier and Adrian did a great job installing the gutters on a freezing cold morning. They took completion photos of the entire project which was helpful for my rental when I didn't even live there. Communication was excellent and a follow up visit to take care of a few items was promptly scheduled and completed. I wish more companies in Austin followed this simple business model where they provide clear and accurate bids, actually show up on time, communicate well, do a quality install job, and provide follow up afterwards (when necessary). In 2022 on the recommendation of others in my community, I had Gutter Tex install new gutters on my home. They did a super job from start to finish - the gutters looked great and eliminated the foundation erosion problem that had worried me. Switching now to 2023 and the Terrible Ice Storm. I saw possible roof and definite gutter damage following the storm. I asked Gutter Tex for an estimate on the gutters on the side of the house damaged by falling tree limbs. Keith responded quickly by email with a follow up phone call, coming out a few days later to personally look at the damage. He gave a very reasonable replacement quote for the gutters, reusing the existing leaf guards, with exact details about the job. Within a week's time, a date was set for the Gutter Tex crew to install the new gutters. The following Monday morning, Joey & Lido arrived bright and early. They were polite, professional, and thorough. They checked the entire roof for other potential issues, quickly and seamlessly finished the gutter install in a couple of hours and left the work area spotless. I am extremely pleased with Keith and his install crew! Keith was very professional in accessing my gutter needs and made practical suggestions that would provide me a more efficient drainage route. I was particularly impressed with his willingness to offer discounts, make invoice adjustments and easy online payment method. My experience with Gutter Tex began when I reached out to them by way of their Facebook page to schedule an estimate for new gutter installation of my one story home. Their response to my inquiry was prompt and I was pleased that I could schedule an estimate online via their social media channels. When their estimator arrived a few days later I was equally pleased with his professionalism and knowledge as well as the manner in which he assessed the property and sent a proposal via email later that day. The proposal was thorough and included photographs of my home which included illustrations of the recommended position of the gutters and downspouts. We got the whole deal: gutters that were painted to match the house, a drip edge installed, mesh leaf guards, and a couple custom down spouts. It all came out perfect! The installer was Tim Null. I simply cannot say enough about Tim... punctual, polite, professional. Tim is an absolute pro. He knows his craft and he knows customer service. We are a large townhome complex in Cedar Park. When our community was built, no gutters were installed. This year our HOA board of directors authorized the installation of new gutters and down spouts for all units. We requested bids from three gutter contractors. Keith from Gutter-Tex was the first to submit a bid. He phoned to make sure we understood the quote. After two weeks and no reply's from the other vendors, we decided to hire Gutter-Tex.
