We hymned and hummed but quickly came to the conclusion that our family for the first time would golf. We walked into the club house and were immediately greeted with open arms by the staff. My partner, Karen, and our children waited in the car as daddy got everyone clubs and carts. Daddy even snuck a few beers in the bag without Karen knowing. That was my only victory that day. We began to golf. It was a long 9 holes but Sally, my daughter, was surprisingly good. Even the players behind us were cheering her on. I think the gentleman's name was Brennan. He was a member which surprised me because every time I looked back he was shooting his ball out of the rough and tall grass areas. Anyways, It was a joyous experience and my family now loves golf. Of all the courses I've played on, this is my favourite! It's soooo fun! They have really cool holes, with challenging obstacles and terrain elevations. For anyone who things mini-putt is easy they should try this course. It's pretty hard. I can play it again and again, and it doesn't get boring, because they've built a course that gets you thinking and strategizing. Then it's fun to go for an ice cream and count up your card to see who won. It's inexpensive to play, but be prepared for a wait if it's busy summer day at the beach. Lots of kids and families too, so you need to be patient and just enjoy the smiles and scenery.

There's a beach that's about 1 KM long and you can walk pretty far out in the water before it even reaches four feet high. Probably over 100 yards. In the beach is also a fairly new playground for the kiddes and behind the beach is room for camp grounds and trailers. It's not exactly a huge Lake/ Camp area but it's nice. It feels secluded too because there's trees around the whole area. Bathrooms were descent and I didn't ever have to wait in line. The woman's washroom has a shower too but the men's don't. Not sure why. There's also a Bible Camp that runs just near the Lake and is the turn off just before it so if you get lost you'll know pretty quick.

Inside there are many spots to picnic as you are not allowed to bring food into the outdoor pool space but you can eat your food out in the common areas of the Centre. You can purchase food from the concession inside the Centre. We ordered the chicken strips and fries and both were agreeable for the kids. There are 2 big slides although when we went only one way open. The kids have to be a certain height to slide down alone and unfortunately my oldest was too small to go down by herself even though she wanted to go, can swim, and is the same age as her peers who were able to go down when she was not. So that is one downfall if you have younger kids like I do. The hot tub is quite large and not overly hot but still warm enough to heat you up as there can be a bit of a breeze in the outdoor areas. The pool has a lazy river, diving board, splash park, and large pools for playing. Its really a great place to spend the day. People bring in their own chairs to sit on however there are some loungers and chairs available should you not bring one for yourself. There are also life jackets available in all sizes! I found the entrance and the path to the pool to be accessible an even there was a nice slanted entry to the pool and hot tub as well! There is lots of parking on site and the service staff, lifeguards, and concession staff were all so friendly and helpful! Everyone did a great job and I would come back here and recommend to others as well if you're in the area or want to do a daytrip this is a great family fun spot.

The main gallery is a great snapshot of Alberta history told through the evolution of the personal vehicle. My favourite section was getting to see how farming equipment has changed over time. I also enjoyed the more interactive exhibits where you got to sit inside the vehicles. To my surprise, the museum isn't just about cars. A second building houses the Aviation Hall of Fame which displays various airplanes and helicopters. I would highly recommend this museum to anyone interested in something a little different or to bring your car loving relative.

I would highly recommend this short hike -- it isn't too difficult (though if you have reduced mobility I'd stay on the flat area which is paved rather than on the dirt path). (NO SPOILERS) Our first escape was an attempt to find Excalibur, in order to slay a dragon laying waste to our lands. The program was well-written, the challenges were both interesting and fun, and the ambiance was great. As an added bonus, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We went back the very next day and took on The Heist, where you attempt to steal a diamond from a bank vault. Again, the program and challenges made it an absolute thrill. However the ambience was just about completely ruined by the technical issues that marred this particular room. Again, without revealing any of the premise of the game, two locks were so blatantly dysfunctional that multiple members of our team could not open them and we had to get a staffer to assist us. Also, a television had so many issues that I couldn't tell if it was to increase the tension in the game, or if it was simply poor maintenance; although I highly believe it was the latter. All said, it was still an enjoyable escape, and well done, but we were left feeling cheated by the technical difficulties we encountered. Had I only done The Quest, this would easily be a 5-star review. Had I only done The Heist, I would be struggling to award 3-stars. Again, the staff was extremely friendly, so I think a 4-star review is a solid middle ground. I would hate for anyone to rate this venue after just one visit.
