Had the doctor told me she would not refill the medication, I could have worked with her on a safe plan or tapered off under guidance, but no options were offered. I never filed a complaint; I found a doctor who would provide honest and safe care. I was left in a dangerous situation that no responsible medical provider should allow. I hope future patients receive clear guidance and respectful communication, especially for medications with serious withdrawal risks.
