rutted up whole yard with truck even though had mats to put under wheels - did not use them, even…read moretho charged me $160 to use them. advertised no yard damage. way over-charged and tried to get me to replace wires even though he said were not frayed or damaged. house about 20 years old do not need wires replaced. he was not careful with wires, damaged them on purpose. i saw helper pull wires with both hands as hard as he could. i told in advance i was not paying over $1500 for water pump replacement. he took the job for that price then tried to pressure senior into to paying more money after paid. house built in 1999. he is a horrible man who harasses seniors for additional money and damaged my property causing over $1000 rut damage to yard after claiming would be none. the sole general contractor and sole property owner told him not to drive out over holding tank pipes only one foot under ground, and showed him where he should drive out. he ignored general contractor instructions and instead of driving out where all other building contractors did, in addition to the actual well driller. c &c drove out over the shallow holding tank pipes, which i am going to have to hire someone to dig down from house to holding tank to see if pipes are damaged and if so hire a holding tank/mound installer to repair them also. c&c did over $1k damage to yard and i do not know yet how much damage he did to holding tank system a+4 yet. and then has the audacity to try to get more than $1656 to replace a water pump. the pump wires that he damaged were not replaced, he just taped them in one location after damaging them.

My water system in my home started making noise louder than normal. I called Retzlaff And Gregorich…read moreWell Drilling in the morning and they returned a call to me just after lunch, saying they would be there in an hour. They assessed the system and found a bad pressure tank. Once that was fixed they powered up the pump and it blew a breaker meaning the pump was also drawing too much voltage. They removed the submersible pump and replaced it, all within about 2 1/2 hours. Both service persons were polite and told me what was going on. I would recommend them to anyone around Northeastern Wisconsin.

We purchased our first home and three weeks after moving in, our well pump died. One never answered despite numerous calls, one said they were short staffed and wouldn't be able to make it that day, and the third said that someone MIGHT be able to make it out there later but couldn't give a time. Then we called Pat. The truck was here within the hour, problem was rapidly diagnosed, options for remedies were given, and less than three hours later all the work was done. The workmen were so friendly, polite, knowledgeable...I could go on and on. Answered all of my questions, taught me all about the new system, and charged significantly less than I was expecting. I was told $150 to $200 to prime the pump. After being told this I agreed to have someone come out and fix the issue. The next week I received a bill for $490. I called and failed to get ahold of someone for days and when I finally did i was given excuse after excuse and was told it is what it is. I will never again use Hintzke and I hope after reading this you do the same.

I'm finding that most communication with up north contractors can be spotty. But Hintzke was not too bad. We signed the contract in December 2024. The well was completed in May 2025. High quality materials and workmanship. Good pricing. I would not hesitate to recommend Hintzke.
