I brought my little dude here for father/son mini golf, and we had a pretty fun time. He was transfixed at the surrounding activities - go karts, bungee trampolines, batting cages, outdoor rock walls, and some makeshift carny ride that sends you straight up, drops you down again, then bounces you around like a screaming freaking for a few minutes. Pure spectator joy. Anyway, golf was $17 total ($10 me / $7 him), and the staffer at the FUN STARTS HERE kiosk was very friendly. The 18 holes were jamming, but I was surprised at how quickly the pace kept up - likely because the holes aren't incredibly challenging. They do have this system where some holes have two cups - one white, one red. The red cup is larger and usually more accessible, but dropping a putt in the red comes with a stroke penalty. My boy didn't understand and kept gunning for red, but I didn't care - let that sucker bury himself. So yeah, I beat my five-year-old handily. If you love dominating your children at mini golf, take them here.

The actual staff? So rude. As a venue that hosts families spending money to enjoy their kids playing, they are abrupt and not even remotely welcoming when entering the venue. The older women in the upper lobby was aggressively policing food entering the building when on the event floor everyone's chowing on their outside grub. I get the posted signs and would happily comply but let's be consistent and recognize that the food concessions offered cannot keep up with the demand which means we need to go elsewhere to get our kids fed. Do better.

There are possibilities to live as a permanent home at the camp site if there was a theoretical zombie apocalypse. The size and capacities of the areas are good for groups of individuals. The only change would be to the living spaces as they are quite crammed compared to the size of the buildings and area. Also having a security gate and fencing would be a great addition. As when I stayed there was a bear on the loose and there is no gate really to stop it.

It is unfortunate I am writing this because the mission of Camp Wing and crossroads as a nonprofit is a good one but the mistreatment and unprofessional in the workplace they allow is not a cause worth supporting. It is 20K to have a wedding here and it could not be less worth it just for the price point alone. There is nothing special about this venue and there are many that look the same if not better for less money. Is a longtime member of the Duxbury community I feel it is important to have it be known what has happened to this place. I know many people that have worked here and have been a part of this Camp short and long term. I am even someone who sent my kids here for years but there has been disturbing things I have learned about this place. The cabins in which the overnight counselors sleep in are cramped, filthy, and uncomfortable. The food they feed to the counselors from the dining hall is absolutely awful and left multiple sick from not eating. There are many allegations from day camp employees about the unprofessionalism as many of the directors and coordinators of the day camp. I know multiple kids in the community that have worked here and said no one they worked with that summer was planning on returning the next summer either because of how awful their bosses were. When I sent my kids to this camp, it was a community and now it has been ruined. I know there has been a recent turnover in the past couple of years of a lot of positions at this camp, but it is unfortunate to see what they have done to a once great place.

Fenway is historical for being the first MLB stadium in the USA. The stadium is constructed mainly of bricks and the seats are wooden foldable seats. The Red Sox were playing the Yankees so the stadium was packed and there was sooooo much energy in the park. Being the biggest rivalry game in baseball all the fans seemed to get along. (Growing up in LA this was not a thing when playing SF). The stadium was packed, they had TVs everywhere so you didn't miss anything while getting food or drinks. They had quite a few crowd engagement sing-a-longs. My favorite was when the entire crowd was singing "Sweet Caroline" that was the first time I had experienced that and it was incredible. This ballpark had SO MUCH ENERGY! Though I am not a sox fan, this was one of the best MLB experience I have had in all my years. If you are debating, just do it! Ladies, they have clean restrooms & nearly no wait time - this is unheard of on the West Coast. I would defiantly return to this park if in the area again just for the high energy and crowd engagement.
