Now I'm dealing with possible heart failure because the infection from the exposed bone likely spread to my heart and has already caused an infarction -- exactly what I was actively trying to prevent. I did not know my bone was exposed. My medical condition -- the one I'm on disability for -- includes loss of feeling in certain areas. My last dental exam was good except for medically necessary orthodontic treatment I was working through administrative barriers to get. The affected area was not visible during normal dental care. I could not figure out why I had been sick for months off and on. When I investigated further, I found that a tooth had broken through the jawbone, leaving the bone and the root exposed. The infection was already systemic. I called Wakefield immediately and explained the situation. They told me they would call in an oral surgeon and address the infection promptly. So I made the hour‑and‑a‑half drive. I showed the triage nurse, who confirmed it was serious and checked me in. Then I was placed in a makeshift curtain room, and they decided they did not want to call the surgeon after all. To avoid EMPLA liability, the staff changed "systemic infection with exposed bone" to "dental pain." Keep in mind I do not have feeling in that area -- I told them that -- so this was not even a possible mistake. They brought me discharge papers without further evaluation, treatment, labs, or anything. They handed me discharge papers with the problem relabeled to mischaracterize my situation. When I tried to show them the discrepancy, I was reframed as hostile. I was discharged in a dangerous and untreated medical state. Now I've had a recent infarction (heart attack) because the exposed bone remained untreated longer and the infection was ignored longer. I finally received antibiotics and had the area cleaned and covered by another hospital, but the infection is now in my heart and my life is in danger while another hospital tries to sort this out.

You will be shocked with the difference in your libido! My general overall feeling of youth returned to that of my 40's. I even had my boyfriend come in for the HRT pellets for men. Don't forget to ask about the O Shot, it's a secret no one tells you about but your husband or partner will be forever grateful you did and so will you!!!!

The first unfavorable review I've ever left for a service…read more I was their customer who had 3 paid services with them. I went to one appointment late (10 mins late), that was due to my tight work schedule they denied and I was sent back. I got rescheduled and I apologised to the aesthetician. I had laser hair removal scheduled in December first week and they had rescheduled for about one and half months later which was 31 January 2025 and I accepted, however today ( 31 Jan 25) I wasn't able to go since I wasn't well. I had two more scheduled appointments for February too. Below was their DM to me "(My name)....We are sorry to inform you that due to multiple missed and canceled appointments we will be unable to schedule you for any additional future appointments." I could've agreed for "deposit" on subsequent appointments and not denial for future appointments. This shows that they won't show any regard for clients who have paid them for services, and they don't realise that everyone has personal exigencies. I don't regret missing the appointment at all, and that was impolite of them. Because of the possibility of rudeness, I would not suggest this service.

The results were signed off by a nurse practitioner I have never met, and released to MyChart the same day. I waited several days for a phone call about my results, then curiosity got the better of me. I went online and found a reputable website that explained to me how to read the results. Memorial Sloan Kettering for the win, I guess. I was shocked. According to the results, my liver is in extremely bad shape. We had that ice storm, so I waited a few days after that to call GAP. I explained to the staffer that it had been over a week since my FibroScan, and I had not heard anything. She said someone would call me. Later that afternoon I received a call from someone that I am assuming was a nurse, she never did introduce herself properly. She just flat out, no caring tone in her voice whatsoever, tells me that I have advanced liver disease and the doctor wants to do a video visit soon. She was about to hang up when I asked her why I had to be the one to initiate contact about my results. She said she didn't know, and that the results should have come across her desk. I told her I did not appreciate finding out such alarming news from Google. I used to love GAP. It was in February 2017 that I had my first colonoscopy, which ended up finding my rectal cancer. I was 39. The gastroenterologist I had then was very caring. He seemed almost as alarmed as I was at finding out I had cancer. He sent me to the best colorectal surgeon in town, which got the ball rolling on my treatment. I am over 8 years cancer free now. Several years ago, he decided to move over to the research side, so he is no longer seeing patients. I am with a new doctor now, who seems hell bent on getting me on GLP-1s to lose weight.

I have been receiving services from the team at this center since October 2020 when I had rotator cuff and bicep surgery. All along the way, the entire staff have been encouraging and professional, and I have grown to trust them. Honestly, despite it being a little painful, I enjoy my forty-five minute appointments, and I notice that their other clients seem to feel the same. The Rehab Center is located in the same building with Novant Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and share the same beautiful, clean, and comfy lobby, reminiscent of a log cabin. Once you enter the door, Kenisha, the receptionist, is just off to the right. She has a welcoming personality that is infectious. She will take your temperature and make sure you are prepared for your appointment. The staff all wear PPE and follow COVID-19 guidelines, and clients are expected to do the same. Kenisha seems to know all the clients, and I enjoy seeing them come in and give her updates. My physical therapists are Brittany and Erin. They are phenomenal! These two work wonders on me and are helping me get motion back into my right arm, slowly but surely. It's important to have a decent personality with any job dealing with the public, and these ladies have personality and professional knowledge by the bucket loads! If you are in need of rehabilitation, I highly recommend the folks at Novant Health Rehabilitation Center. They will get everything moving right again in no time. When you go by, tell them Kindra sent ya!
