One Star: Go Elsewhere. Total Lack of Care. ​My return visit was an utter waste of three weeks' waiting time. The doctor was immediately sarcastic and unprofessional. When I tried to give a brief medical history, I was literally told, "go elsewhere." The physician showed zero interest in my specific ailment, cut me off when I tried to show photos, and said, "There is nothing there," without a real exam. They clearly only care about fast, routine visits. I left feeling completely dismissed and shaken by the experience. The care here has drastically declined. read more

I left this practice very early on into my first pregnancy after they mixed up my lab results with another patient's and after I attempted to get a Dr on the phone multiple times due to having unexplained intense pain that worried me. When I finally got a nurse on the phone I was told I could just 'take over the counter pain meds'. They didn't want to see me, were not listening to me, and after mixing up my results I no longer had faith in this office to do their job well or take care of me and my baby. As a side note,in the two months I was a patient here, not once did I ever see a physicians. Only midwives and PA's. Which I would not have minded as much if, when I actually had a problem, I would have been able to get ahold of or be scheduled to see an actual physician when I needed to. read more

very unprofessional, my wife went in for a polyp removal she has a history of pre-cancer polyps since the age of 18 she is 34 now. they did not know what they were doing they had multiple nurses and the anesthesiologist trying to find a vein even though she told them from past surgeries, because she's had so many, they always have to use an ultrasound machine. By the time they used the ultrasound machine they tried her neck upside down on the table while she was in pain and then when they got the ultrasound machine, they went through the vein and blew it and gave up after just one chance with the ultrasound machine and told her that she would need to schedule with the hospital but then she got a letter telling her she had a to find a different provider because of difficult interactions with the staff even though she did not have any difficult interactions the fact, they could not get a IV which is on their part so now we have to prolong her surgery and pray to God that it is not cancerous. Cancer does not discriminate age, and they kept insisting that it was benign because of her age, despite the history that she has. read more

I work in health care. so I expected, as a pregnant person to be treated with the same respect that I give. my first mistake was not reading the Google reviews before coming here. They do not have a corporate, so if you're wondering why they talk to their patients any kind of way, it's because they know they can get away with it. word of advice: read the google reviews before you waste any money or time. It doesn't matter who you are, but especially if you're a person of color, you will be treated poorly. I have footage of the office manager being disgusting and I am currently speaking to a lawyer about how I was treated. oh yeah, and then she sent me a dismissal letter as if I was ever coming back anyway. no thanks racist! read more

Ignorant / deceptive billing practices and communication. Generally incompetent practice from an administrative standpoint. The healthcare itself was good, but came at a cost well beyond what was agreed to. If you like owing thousands of dollars for prenatal/delivery care, they're your choice. read more

I was told over the phone that this location accepted my insurance which was again confirmed by the receptionist before my appointment. A few weeks after my appointment I get a bill in the mail for $350. I contact WHS to refute it and they said there would be "no way to know if they accept my insurance" and that the receptionist had made a mistake. Thank you Women's Health Specialists for putting me into debt during a pandemic. Thank you for the unprofessional behavior and lying about my insurance. I have no idea how you can get away with this or have receptionists that are allowed to lie to patients about something as important as insurance and payment info. read more

This place is like a factory. They do not care about you but only care about your money. They want you in and out as quickly as possible. I also had a billing issue with them and everyone in the billing department was very rude. I asked to speak to the the billing department manager who was named Chassidy and she also was very unprofessional. They submitted a code to my insurance that shouldn't have been sent to them without telling me to get paid more. When I was trying to explain myself to Chassidy she kept laughing at me on the phone as I told her that was very unprofessional to do and then she hung up on me. Doctor McCurdy is the best OBGYN I've ever been too! I've been going to her for years! She listens, she's compassionate and I never feel rushed with her! Leslie is her nurse and she is wonderful as well. she always calls me back when I have a Question and it doesn't take all day! read more

If I could give no stars I would. Beyond disappointed in the staff at the Jensen Beach location. Recently I began to experience depression/anxiety 6 months after delivering my beautiful baby girl. I called the office to see if I was possibly having postpartum and who I should see. I was scheduled an immediate appointment and diagnosed with postpartum. I was given medication for depression and asked if there was something for anxiety. I later spoke with Teri Werder, director of the office who advised I would have to see a psychiatrist for that. Two days later I received a letter from the office stating that they will no longer see me due to my anxiety (postpartum). I was discharged for having POSTPARTUM from a WOMEN'S specialist. read more

HORRIBLE, RUDE and COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL front desk staff. This is the first review of any business - good or bad I have provided. With such an important & personal decision as choosing a doctor, women should be warned about the behavior and treatment given by employees at this practice. Staff clearly needs to be reminded they are not providing a charity. Patients like myself are paying hard earned money to be provided professional and safe services. I chose to schedule an appointment with this practice and after the inappropriate, rude 3 minute interaction I now choose to spend my $283 at a professional practice. You aren't doing favors you are providing services. If being demeaned and disrespected is your thing - choose this practice. Appointment times are given and not adhered to. I was 20 minutes early for my 10 am appointment, then told she "would see if I would still be seen" while being demeaned and reprimanded for not being 30 minutes early. Email confirmations with appointment times should be honored, patients should be treated with respect and dignity. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere. Absolutely awful front office! They did not call me about my pap, mammogram or blood test results. When I called back after almost a month, I was told my pap smear was sent to HPV testing. I was not even told about pap smear coming back suspicious, let alone being sent for additional testing. When I mentioned how disappointed I was about the way they treated me, the woman on the phone said, "I am sorry you feel this way". So another passive aggressive rude move, not even a half apology or trying to explain why they did not care enough to call me to let me know about my cancer screening results. If you want compassion and personal attention and professionalism, stay away from this office. read more
