Great store if you are looking for vibrators or dildos. On the pricey side, but high quality. Unfortunately they also have horrible customer service. My partner and I bought a $22 (!!!!) 10 pack of Sir Richards condoms. 2 out of the 9 condoms broke and we are avid condom users who have never had an issue before. We are now pregnant so I decided to politely let them know what had happened so that they are aware that their glorious "high quality" vegan condoms might not be helping their customers avoid pregnancy. When I told the lady working there this (which was not fun -- might I add) she said that "Sir Richards are high quality condoms and I've never heard of this" and continued to tell me that "that was the risk of using condoms". Needless to say I left in tears and will never be entering that store again. Moral of the story: shop somewhere where they are conscientious of such personal matters as it is a sex shop. I haven't been to Womyn's Ware for a few years but always loved going there. And when I went back recently to buy some new lube I left beyond irritated with the staff and management. There were at least four people working and I felt like I was constantly being followed and being hovered on. After I selected some lube I carried it around with me because I wasn't totally decided on that one. Two staff members asked me if I wanted it put behind the counter and I said that I was still thinking and would prefer to hang on to it. They both seemed fine with that. A snarky blond woman literally snatched the lube from my hands and said she'd put it behind the counter and didn't even wait for a reply. I was beyond irritated by this. I felt like they thought I was going to steal it or something. Beyond unacceptable in my opinion. The staff were following my friend and I around and were listening to our conversation. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and I will never be giving them my money again. Which is too bad because despite being treated like a criminal I have money to spend on myself and am choosing to not give it to them.
