Jacky was great. Such a perfect person for this job. However, Vic the bus driver was a total ass! Yelling at people who didn't know the upper cabinets are spring loaded. He also wouldn't allow cups on the bus, or eating. And forget about using the restroom on the bus. That's only for emergencies. He didn't even wear his seatbelt. It was buckled underneath him. The children on our tour were a total nightmare. Their parents slept while the kids pulled the hair of the people in front of them. They were totally loud, even with earplugs in. Adult only tour would be worth the extra money. We decided to not do the buffets. The first stop had a Harvey's ( fast food) way cheaper. On the second day we walked across the street to Costco and had lunch for two people less than $10. Niagara Falls was wonderful. Beautiful. CN tour was amazing! read more

Bus tour to Quebec. The bus smelled Like toilet. Driver got caught for Speeding. Airconditioner was not working properly, when someone asked the agent about it she said to talk to the driver directly. Some Customers took the cruise at 2 pm some did not. Agent said to meet in front of the cruise at 3:30 pm. Those who did not take the tour walked around and came back at 3:30 to be dropped off at place frontenac (10 min walk from the cruise) they should have instructed those who did not take the cruise to just go straight to place frontenac at 5:30 before going home. I'm not reviewing Wonder Travel other than in Montreal based on one bad trip.I guess we were just unlucky as most reviews for this company appear to be positive.I could not see any reviews of the trip in question so let me at least share my thoughts. This Wonder Travel tour out of Montreal, the 6 day trip to the Maritimes, in our case was booked through the agency TourRadar. I did it this way feeling if there were any issues tour radar would have my back. Not so. My family arrived at 5:45 a.m.downtown on Stanley street. A few fellow travellers trickled in and within a few minutes we were approximately 20 people waiting for "the bus" which arrived promptly at 6 AM.. We were all in a state of shock when we saw what "the bus" they planned to take us i. was a 24 seater shuttle bus. There was almost a riot as everyone was in rage and the police arrived to calm us. No luggage hold snd squeezed seats.The leader for Wonder "you get on or we leave without you"..eventually we felt coerced and we got on, but still angry and totally helpless. A passenger contacted Wonder Tours, but they hung up on her! Absolutely no help with our luggage that had to be squeezed into the overhead rack!!! Many senior folk! This shuttle was possibly not legal, but definitely unsuitable for the 2500 km trip. Off we went 2 hours late to depart ..no worries as the driver drove 140 km per hour, steady, the entire trip mostly, in the passing lane!!! The suspension on this 10 year old clunker was broken and we bumped up and down all the way there ..and back ...I could write a book on that, but I won't .I will just add the sights were lovely the motels 3star adequate, but as the guide/leader knew nothing, he could not offer a narrative and I mean Zero ..it was summer job for him he admitted.. ..totally useless. We only needed the driver. Back to the main issue ...The bus was not the deluxe coach and they tricked us with the bait Deluxe Coach that was promised in the information about the trip..small print. Wonder tour can change bus types if there are not enough people..they have no obligation to warn about this. Many people called to ask what kind of bus and were told a large coach bus. Those people were lied to. Several times the air conditioning failed and people were in serious discomfort. Three hours between rest stops along the trip was not unusual since shuttle buses don't have bathrooms...at another time our planner even made a mistake and we went to the wrong motel. We were often lost, but were close enough that the gps on the drivers iPhone got us there. On the first day prepare the cash and forget any receipts ..The guide comes and tells you what you own..later you find out you overpaid .,eg. $18x20 people for the boat ride to Bonaventure Island but we paid up front $42... Just finished our 3-day tour to Toronto-Niagara Falls. Thought the trip was ok....not the best. Our tour guide didn't explain things clearly....was always running off to the ticket booth, etc leaving the group esp for those who get off the bus last (sitting in the last few rows) confused and lost. The time/schedule restriction was way too strict - being late 10-15 mins happens and is expected when traveling w/ the elderly and one being sick, one shouldn't be put on blast, harassed and embarrassed in front of the entire group. Knowing that we were slightly late and in the wrong, I apologized on several occasions- during the phone call, then the txt msg right after the call, then his scowl when we met up and then once again on the bus - forcing me to sing in front of the group as a form of punishment. I felt it was a little bit excessive for a paying customer.....and didn't think I should be treated that way....again, me traveling w/ the elderly and me fighting a terrible cold/flu in which I clearly explained to our guide during the tongue lashing. I've been on many tours around the world...this one was the worst when it came to service/time restriction.....our guide should have been a little more understanding. My husband and I very much enjoyed our 5-day maritime trip (Aug.31-Sept.4).The bus was new, clean and very comfortable. There is even a toilet inside for urgent cases. The bus driver was responsible. The way he drove made us feel comfortable and safe. Moreover, Mr. V., our tour guide was very capable in his job and is very responsible as well. We were very thankful that we chose to do a bus tour rather than to drive a very long way by ourselves. My husband and I has no regrets at all. This was the worst experience I can imagine a person can have with a tour . First the tour guy was really arrogant and disrespectful and forced us to have at least 3 activities with extra change of 510 for 3 person which I was already pay 690 in advance for hotel and service charge of the tour . Then the bus was fully booked and old and without air conditioning. Horrible situation until Toronto Third, the hotel was a way far from Toronto in Mississauga and we where obliging to wait for other people to aquarium activities which where not our interest instead of bring us first in hotel or have a concrete activities. They are all intending to put us in pressure to have more money as they can . Finally when arrived at hotel in first day . For 3 person they provide us this small hotel room with two small double bed . Just look how we manage to sleep. This tour was cheapest but at the end costliest possible. Please please change your mind before reservation..... after I put complain by email and try to ask other customer in the bus if they have same situation and I Asked for unsatisfied people politely and calmly in bus for people emails to put in cc in my email . the manager named Jessica Qian , called me and she didn't let me to complete my speech and jump in my conversation . suddenly she freakout and start shouting and slandering me I am crazy and dangerous person .because I just said the hotel was horrible .... then I stop the call and she started to text me like crazy and call ... and threaten me in Niagara that if you continue complaining I will kick you out from the bus and call the police .... I was so scared and call 911 , the police on the phone calm me down and say if anything happens just call us ... nobody can make you unsafe in Canada ... I would like to share my experience with wonder travel and strongly suggest to avoid this travel company, Following are sequence of events I have experienced on last long weekend (18th-20th May 2019) 1) I took leave on 17th May and booked 4 days trip of philadelphia, washington and new york, which they cancelled and I had to accept 3 days New York trip, also wasted 1 day leave at home watching T.V 2) After entering into US, BUS was failed and we waited for next bus from 8 am to 3:30 pm on first day it self. 3) Bus was again failed after traveling 10-15 min, We again waited for new bus. 4) As a result, We wasted whole day and they said the will not refund money but instead adjust trip time in way that we will cover all tourist places in NY 5) We are married couple, but they gave us room with two small single beds, without A.C and Fan. 6) To cover all places, Wonder travel coordinator asked us to wake up early and run like a rabbit to win race instead of experiencing travel. We didn't have enough time to take breakfast peacefully. 7) In NY temperature is above 25 C, BUS AC was not working. Believe me you will feel like above 40 C because we are adjusted with cold weather. 8) Here is a bouncer. As we need to leave NY at 12 pm on last day and we needed to cover all places, Wonder travel coordinator only gave 2 hours to complete madame tussauds museum, Ripply's Believe or Not museum and Lunch. Many people didnt have get time for lunch. 9) After all these wonderful experience, They took 21 USD per person as Service charge. Really bad experience. The guide is very disorganised. Our trip was to New York with Lena. She was always disoriented and pretented to know everything very well. We wasted 5 hours rumming inside of the China town for nothing. It was not part of the itinerary at all. We paid 200 USD to visit the one world obeservation tour and she gave us only 10 min for that while we could have more time if she would keep us for so long beside a cow statue that nobody cares. The bus driver came 4 hours late one time and we went back to hotel at 12: 30 past midnight while we were supposed to be returning at 8 pm. None sense. She left us in that nasty crowd in Manhattun in th3 midst of a chaos with drivers getting crazy because of the traffic. It was hot and we've bee standing in the hot and humid climate like ragpickkers along the streets with our bags. It was intolerable. The hotel's services were very bad. The WORST customer experience I've ever had. They cancelled our 3-day tour to Toronto, and switched it for a 2-day tour, promising a refund for the third day. The tour guide made my daughter sign the receipt and she didn't gave her the money back. I didn't know that, since they promised to refund me on the credit card; when I came to the offices to ask about the refund, and the woman in the front desk definitely has not the slightest notion of customer service. The worst service ever............... I suggest you to take into account all the negative comments below because they are all true. I just finished the 4 days trip of philadelphia, washington and new york. Everything was rushed, we spent most of our time on the road and barely spent any time in Washington and Philadelphia. Our tour guide Richard didn't know how to guide us through the cities, he barely spoke any english and french. When passengers made comments about the way the trip was going he got all agressive and started yelling at them as he said he knew better than us and thats how it's supposed to be. On our first day the AC broke down and we had to spend the whole day in the bus with 40 C. The next day we lost 3 hours waiting for the AC to be fixed at the garage, but they werent able to fix it so we had to wait for a new bus to arrive. During that terrible heat the awful smells coming off of the bathroom made things worst. I've used many other companies in the past and Wonder Travel was by far the worst. The service is terrible and at the end with all the additional activities you are forced to take it doesnt come cheap either. Wonder travel is the most unprofessional and disrespectful company I have ever seen. We booked the independent tour for 3 days in NYC. On our first day, it took us 8 hours to get to New York which isn't quite normal. We left Montreal at 4:15 am on stanley street. There was already a transmission problem on the first day and they tried to hide it from everyone else by taking more breaks. Why would they even take a bus that hasn't even been through inspection. On the second day, this is the worst experience of my life. We were stranded on the highway starting from 6:40 pm until 10:15pm. There was one bottle of water offered to each person but there was no food. The bathroom was polluting the air in the bus. There were kids and elderly and the guide Richard kept on telling us to stay on the bus. The guide never called the police. According to the law of the highway, it is dangerous and prohibited to have a stopped vehicle. He either told us absolutely nothing or he would try to convince us that the other bus was coming to pick us up. Thankfully my friends and I decided to take our own money to call a Lyft (app similar to Uber). The rest of the passengers who were from other countries stayed in the bus until 12 am. Their way to find solutions are absolutely unprofessional. Richard also promised the other passengers that they would be able to order pizza once they arrive to the hotel at midnight. That was not the case. The rest of them never got the chance to eat when they arrived because everything was closed, even McDonald's (took 30 minutes to arrive to hotel). The next day, we were told to leave at 8:30 am. The bus never even came around that time. The bus only came at 10:30 am. I called the Agency telling them that they are not professional and incapable to handle stressful situations. They kept on lying to their passengers and this was bullshit. The lady called Nancy then told me that I was being disrespectful. I'm sorry but this is not being disrespectful, this is reality. She didn't understand how bad the situation was and would not even try to see what kind of problems we encountered. Wonder travels is the worst company to travel with. My friend called when we got back to montreal asking for a compensation because of all the time that we wasted. The supervisor Ashley said she couldn't do anything but to take off 30$ on our next trip. The passengers from our trip told us that this wasn't the first time it happened. In addition, we were suppose to get dropped off to Times Square for the second day but the guide kept on giving us excuses on how it wasn't possible for the driver to stop the bus to let us off. I took initiative and asked the driver myself in french, he was kind and said : Of course I don't mind, why didn't you tell me earlier, I would of dropped you guys near Times Square instead of on our way to the statue of liberty. I took the Quebec and Chute Montmorency tour with them. It was good, everything went as planned. The tour guide was nice. Price-wise I think it was fair value for money...you can also build your own trip so you book the basic thing and you add to it what you need. That being said I didnt like the following points: 1. We were told on wednesday night that there were 23 seats available and we were 3 people, so one of us booked and 2 were a bit busy, we tried to book the next day but magically all of the seats were gone. That was for saturday actually. We asked them on friday morning to transfer our friend's seat to Sunday (at that time there were 14 seats available) and no matter how much we bargained they wouldnt change a thing. 2. They seem to be very strict about time, which I do understand. However on the bus they say it very clearly that we will leave without you if you're late. I thought they should maybe make the effort to call people that are late..maybe they do 3. The tour guide, despite speaking 3 languages, has a very veryyyy pronounced chinese accent which makes him annoyiinngg to listen to. Really great tour experience! We booked the one day tour to Montmorency Falls and Quebec City from Montreal, the bus departs from Chinatown, our guide Cliff was awesome, he was funny and extremely informative. While driving to Quebec City along the Saint Lawrence river, he talked about the history of Canada, Quebec province, Montreal, and Quebec City and pointed out a lot of sights with interesting tidbits of information. We were also entertained by his personal stories and singing. The tour covered Montmorency falls, Old Quebec, the Capital Observatory, quite a packed schedule but we were allowed sufficient free time to explore the area by ourselves and did not feel rushed. It was a really enjoyable experience. Very punctual, professional and a lot of fun! They also conduct tours as far as Asia. read more

I took the Toronto-Niagra fall and I was very unsatisfied with the service. first you see the price and You say: oh such a good price but then you realize you get what you paid for. the hotels they take you are cheapest and far from the city(our hotel in Niagara didn't have breakfast not even tooth paste and the hotel in Toronto was so far from town even though they said its close and we can take Uber to go to town but it was very far. Never pay them for tours!!! if you buy the tickets by yourself it will cost you much cheaper! the same for restaurants! the restaurants are all Chineses and they will give no other choice so you will be obliged to pay them for the restaurants. our tour guide was a cute helpful responsible girl, very on time (and she actually helped me with my lost bag in hotel). It's the first time I traveled with this company but it is not the first time I booked a trip. I had cancelled a trip twice because they moved the days and I had specific days to travel, but this third time they moved the tour 1 day before and I took it. I took a 3 day tour to Toronto,1000 islands and Niagara Falls with 2 of my sisters and we can say over all that it was an excellent trip. - Lucas, our guide was very clear giving instructions, respectful, punctual, organized and gave us a faire amount of information about the places we were visiting. Also he speaks well French and English. He also gave us 4 rules at the beginning of the tour. - We had Jean Luc, our driver, he is an excellent driver. Smooth driving and very punctual and no problems at all with the bus. -Very clean hotels. The first one (Quality inn) was far from downtown Toronto but clean and gave us breakfast. Second one (Motel 6 Niagara Falls) Clean and smaller than the second one and not breakfast. This was 15 to 20 min walk from Niagara Falls. -Even the people in the bus were very nice and punctual. -The only downside, and I agree with other comments is that they take us to Chinese restaurant and there is no other choice. -Also the schedule is very strict and is not allowed being late a little bit, which I understand and Lucas explained the importance of being on time when he gave us the 4 rules. Me and my sisters enjoyed a lot, we just paid for 2 activities, the minimum required and the rest we had a lot of time to walk around downtown Toronto and Niagara Falls. I had a very very bad experience in the hotel of 2-day Niagara tour. Our hotel was fourpoints in Mississauga. In the morning, unfortunately, I found out that my room had bedbugs and I saw one of them with my own eyes in my bed and they bit me a lot. Terrible agency. My boyfriend and I booked this tour on a 4 day trip to New York. They called us giving us the wrong location to wait for the bus (the agent had given us their old office location, so we missed our bus). Upon returning to the agency, they denied giving us the wrong information, and further refused to refund our travel expenses incurred to return to the agency. We also discovered that the actual bus had broken down, leaving 12 other unhappy customers waiting to complain at the agency, and forced to leave the next morning. In the end, we had to fight almost 2 hours to receive some sort of compensation for travelling purposes, and we had to find our own way to get to New York. Please do not book with this agency, they may be decent if the tour works out, but they can also be extremely unprofessional if it does not. MONTREAL---NEW YORK BUS TRIP, 3 days package HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! WORST company ever, worst service , no one takes responsibility of any problem occurs during the travel. We had to wait for 7 hours to get through the passport check and then BUS was not good for the trip according to US inspectors. Everyone (31 passengers on the bus) had to return to MONTREAL on their own if we were not willing to wait for the bus to be repaired. Guide was not helpful at all. He was talking to WONDER TRAVEL manager , but refused to let us talk to him or give any contact number. Initial reservation phone number was shut down, and office did not answer at all. I tried to call more than 10 times at least to leave a voicemail.Voicemail box was not even available. PLEASE NEVER CONSIDER this COMPANY( bunch of irresponsible careless people) PLUS, bus arrived late in the morning. Everyone was confused while waiting for the bus. Only 1 bus arrived and it was not enough for all the passengers. Guide did not have any intention to help other people waiting outside. They were obviuosly confused and angry. Soon, you will be urged to drive two hours from Ottawa to Montreal to speak to the office directly. This is where the fun part starts. Grab a sandwich, grab your loved ones, and settle in for the show: a woman will yell at you, refuse to give you back the money because in their system you are noted as saying you would gladly go on a different trip with the company instead of getting a refund (no confirmation, no proof of this, nothing!).....fists will be pounded on the table, followed by screaming (not for the faint of heart), and finally you will be told that you just aren't getting your money back and that's not their problem. It's so easy, and you'll never see that pesky money again...unless you contact Paypal, open a dispute, escalate the dispute, have your dispute be rejected, contact your bank, and have them re-open the case.........then and only then, if you really have to have those gross dollar bills back...they shall be yours. Ask for Margot if you want the special. You'll know you're getting it when you start to feel threatened! On a serious note, do not ever deal with these ridiculous people. Despicable customer service, horrendous work ethic, disorganized, a complete mess, exceptionally rude...and it took almost two months to get my money back. WONDERTRAVEL IS FOR THE PITS They have no respect or concerns for their customers. booked a trip to Vietnam a whole year in advance. the tour itself was great only because it was a package purchased by Wonder Paid upfront for flights and got the worst return flights possible others on the same tour were home a whole day before us long wait times in many airports not a nice experience after being on a 19 day tour. there is a lot more to the story too much to go into here . It was an awful experience, and I will never ever get such chinese run tours. They are theives and charge you more than double they say on the website. We were in a group of four and the tour guide forced us to buy at least three activities (they get discount and commission for that). When we refused to do so, cuz it was not told on the website, the guide treated us very rudely and told us that she would not give us the hotel room key while we had paid for that already. The guide does not care about your experience or what you enjoy, but s/he keeps going from one place to another just to sell you more and more tickets. Finally she forced us to buy a lunch box, a chinese food, that we never liked and could not eat it. After all, the tour was nor cheap nor enjoyable. This is the worst company ever. We took the 3 day independent NY on the thanksgiving weekend. We left at 4am, the trip was good and our driver the best. The problem was with the hotel. The hotel were we supposed to stay had a water pipe problem, so the guide Lisa told us they had found another hotel for us, which it was very difficult because of the long weekend, the hotel was 1 hour from NY and then she told us not hot water on the hotel, at that moment everyone start to get suspicious! What we couldn't imagine the type of hotel! It wasn't clean at all, some rooms has shit on. It was disgusting! We call the police and they couldn't do anything for us, because everything was booked. Everyone stay outside on the Red Lobster next to the hotel until 4am, when the nice manager finally had to go. The move to the dinner and wait for the driver! They were kids there! No respect at all for the customers! I don't even know how the still on the market! I know is cheap, what not at that point to have this kind of treatment! booked a tour bus package from montréal to New york for a 3 day trip and everything was going smoothly, I got a call to confirm the deal and was asked if all of the people traveling with me had their passport or visa and the person on the other line was polite and could answer all my questions. However on the day of departure friday 29th march 2013, we went to the meeting place at 4AM it was unorganized there were hundreds of people everywhere I was told to look for our bus number and when i found it the tour guide looked stressed and panicked as there were so many people around. When it came to boarding, she only had us show her proof of purchase and told us to hop onto the bus and leave our luggages in the compartment on the sides of the bus which made me nervous because there were so many people walking around and they could have easily stolen our luggage. As we sit down she comes in panic and tells us that we are on the wrong bus number 28 and this bus number 28 is for her colleague so not only were we kicked out but we got the feeling that they only booked one bus for two different groups. We ended up waiting for 2 hours on the side of the street freezing and with our tour guide only telling us that the bus will take an additional 10 minutes. We watched everyone leave and she still kept saying the same message. She didn't look like she knew what she was doing she didn't even want to answer our questions. At 6 am her manager comes and explain to us that the bus for us "broke down" that morning and that there will be no tours.. so they made us come, wait for 2 hours in the freezing cold and told us that we could be refunded later and that we could go home. They refused to pay for our transportation cost at 6 am which ended costing us 45 $ to Dorval. By Monday i still haven't received the refund so i called to ask and the customer service agent was not only rude but she called me a liar saying that our group left on saturday morning. please dont ever make our mistake and book with this company because it seems cheap. They have a few million dollar office in the old port and a 2 million dollar bus insurance but did not want to refund our travel cost home. read more
