My roof hasn't leaked so they got the most basic aspect right. I wouldn't hire them to roof a dog house. The crew, reported to be their best (just a salesman's BS) doesn't know how to run a pattern. The guys scarred multiple shingles because they didn't know how to walk on the roof. One guy put holes in my gutters after the hangers fell out and he was too lazy to get a ladder and nailed them in from the ground. Look, I expect the gutters to get banged up a bit - that happens, but this was just lazy. The pattern issue just takes the cake. Also, had I not run a magnet in my driveway my tires would have picked up the 50 nails I found, I wish I was exaggerating. Woodall has completed several projects for my family. New gutters, a new roof, chimney removal and patch... Each time we've been pleased with the quality. Clean up has always been completed promptly. The most recent project was a new roof and they completed tear off and installation of the new roof in one day. I'm always impressed with Woodall, you couldn't find a better company! read more

Contacted them about replacing my metal flashing around fireplace. Once replaced the design has caused water to pool around back of fireplace. Terrible design and when I contacted them the reply was what you don't like the look of it. Like NO I have water pooling on my roof. Told me I should of told them I wanted a cricket also but I'm not a roofer. Anyway solution was to try to charge me to have cricket installed. We hired Woodhall in February of 2022 to repair our front porch. We signed a bid at over 6,700 which we thought was for a finished front porch. They showed up on May 27, 2022 to tear down the porch. We did not see them again for 3 weeks because the columns had not been ordered?? In all they worked a total of 3 days on our porch taking very long lunches. We asked for hardwood and they came with indoor, tongue and groove, notty pine, which we accepted because they said that is all they could acquire. They also bought plastic footings for the columns which I specifically asked them not to do. They used the wrong screws for most of the project, they put in a column crooked, they did not put the porch in correctly so it sank when we walked on it. The boards had been flipped upside down in some spots so the tongue and groove did not match up. They made us carry the railings to another business to have them painted and bring them back. We had to pay that person 2000.00 which was not covered with us in the original bid of 6700. They did not stain the front porch wood we had to do it ourselves especially since the indoor wood would have sat in the weather for 3 weeks waiting on them to get the columns in they should have already ordered. We also had to paint the columns. They installed the railings incorrectly (mainly due to not taking any measurements beforehand) and screwed in unfinished blocks of wood that had not even been sanded down or stained to accommodate for the large gap between the railings and the floor. Had they measured ahead of time when we took the railings to the other company they could have put on longer footings before we paid them 2000.00 to paint them. They screwed the blocks in with improper screws so I had to go buy a tool to get the screws out. They left our rain gutter in the bushes as well. The supervisor who was overseeing our project missed three meetings at our home to discuss our issues with the work. He never even bothered to call and cancel so we just waited at the house on him. Finally he did show and agreed the work was poor quality. He asked if they could fix it and if they threw in painting the columns (which I was still wondering why that was not included) we would still pay the 6,700.00. We declined because not a single job on the repair was executed properly. Not to mention the cheap supplies they used added up to 2100.00 so where was the difference going to add up to 6700.00? We asked for a new bill reflecting the poor materials used and the lack of expertise. We waited a few weeks and nothing was sent. We called the office and a new guy came out to see the poor work and finally we received a bill for 1800.00. We paid Woodhall 1800.00 because it would have cost us more to go to court. We had to fix the issues ourselves and the railings are still not fixed. Please do not waste your valuable time and resources with this poorly trained and equipped company that lacks professionalism. read more

The entire company provided wonderful customer service. Their employees are very knowledgeable, respectful, proficient and accommodating. I asked for a quote for a new metal roof and received a very reasonable one within 24 hours. Their workers showed up on time the day they promised and worked very hard until the project was completed. In March of 2021 my residence was damaged by a storm, that included damage to the roof and siding. After working with the insurance company, they agreed to cover the damaged section of roof, along with the surrounding area as to maintain a consistent look. They also agreed to replace the siding on one side of the house. I signed a contract with Woodall to repair the damages, which included fascia metal replacement, 16 squares of shingles, and siding for the whole side. After they said they had completed the work, a check was paid and cashed, and the initial contract was modified to reflect the additional work that still needed to be completed. In speaking with the insurance company, it was determined that Woodall only replaced 6 squares of shingles, leaving an additional 10 squares not done. They also did a horrific job on the siding around the electrical box, leaving it suseptible to water damage as it was not covered (see attached pictures for details). From November through January, I attempted to contact their representative to have the rest of the work completed, though he would not respond. In January I began emailing additional employees at the office in hopes of getting the issues resolved. A quick response came from the office saying it would be taken care of as soon as possible. In February the replaced the additional 10 squares, leaving the roof in several different colors. They still had not completed the fascia metal or fixed the siding issue. I again emailed the company asking for them to fix the siding issue, along with the fascia metal and roof. After several months passed I reached out again, though they refused to answer. On 9/2/2022 I received a call from the owner after posting pictures of their terrible work and leaving a negative review. The owner was very rude, and said it was wrong for me to make the post. I would try and finish the work myself but I am disabled and unable to. Borderline criminal behavior. After filing a complaint with the BBB, some of the work was completed, though the person responding made up lies to try and save face, accepting no responsibility for their actions. read more

We used Woodall to replace our roof as well as to build a roof over a patio. Rob Dennis , our sales person, was very honest and let us know up front that it would be a while before they got to us. We did explain that we were in a time crunch, like everyone else and explained our circumstance. The teams showed up a month sooner than expected. They had 2 teams that came. Both teams did a great job. They showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up, and completed the projects quickly. But more importantly, they were extremely sympathetic and respectful to our situation.
