I did so much research when it came to picking out a preschool for my child. I toured around 10 at the time when I was researching. Woodbridge children's school is the perfect place. It has the cozy home feeling with children's artwork on the walls but also very clean and sanitary which were huge check marks on the list for me. They provide an organic menu with snacks and lunch included which was a huge win as well. The director is amazing think professional leader with the mix of home room mom you hope your kiddos have! She does everything big in the best ways from celebrating all the holidays, dress up days, & a lot of family involved events! The teachers are all fantastic & my son has learned so many things! We moved to Irvine middle of Fall and was lucky to enroll our toddler, and what a great choice we made! Sheila, the director, was energetic, kind and helpful when I initially met with her before enrolling and after leaving, I immediately knew this was the place for our girl. All the teachers are friendly, warm and caring of the little ones. Our daughter loves going to school and loves her teachers! They offer a range of playtime, Montessori and academics. This place makes me wish we had put our daughter in school earlier. My wife and I were so nervous about putting our daughter in school (family had taken care of her previously), but our fears could not have been more misplaced. The people there are so friendly and professional, and it just makes it easy to have our daughter there each day. They have a cute building in Irvine with a great outdoor area to play, organic food for the kids, and just overall a positive vibe. We' ve had such a wonderful experience with IUCC! My daughter loves going there every day. The Director and staff are incredibly kind , patient, and attentive--They truly care about the children and it shows in everything they do. The environment is safe, clean and full of engaging activities that keep the kids learning and having fun. I have seen so much growth in my daughter since she started. As a parent, it is such a relief to know she is in good hands. Communication from the team is always clear and timely. The on-site Chef is very sweet, and my daughter loves all the food. All my 3 kids go to this pre school. It has been 3 years and all my kids love the teachers and kids there. The past months, they change the school director and I like it even more because there are more activities and better communication. Only one draw back that they close early on the last Friday each month which isn't too convenience for working parents. read more

When we began the search for our daughters first school experience our list was long, and although we liked many programs IUCC ECC stood out as the best choice for our 3 year old, who started Preschool in September 2024. HIGHLIGHTS: The curriculum is well-rounded offering project bassd learning. The school uses the ProCare communication system which allows us to be informed and engaged as parents. They serve a balanced organic menu that is made onsite not packaged and delivered which is included. The teacher's are highly experienced and loving. We did a lot of research for the best preschool and the right one for our daughter when we discovered IUCC and we are so happy we did!  When searching for a preschool, we were looking for a warm & welcoming diverse place where she would learn, try new foods (we love the included meals) and grow socially.  My daughter visited the school a few times before starting and she was immediately comfortable (not the case with other places) and each subsequent time she visited, she became more excited about school.  IUCC has proven to be a safe, nurturing environment and everything we were seeking, we found -- the staff are all so kind and fantastic, the curriculum is appropriate, the included nutritious meals are also organic (we love that) and the children are all so happy there!  IUCC is the best! read more

We really love this school! Our 2.5 year old attends iucc and he's genuinely excited to go every day. They just had a new director join and she's bringing in a ton of fresh ideas and overall great energy. We spent 3 years at IUCC ECC and cried when we moved away! Miss Rose, miss Melissa, Miss Mary, and Ms Irma became like family to us! My boys thrived here - made great friends with a very diverse group of students, learned more than I had ever expected for kindergarten prep, and were fed SO well by Ms Marta. They eat better now because their teachers encouraged them to try it all! My boys loved coming to school because they got to play. I still believe that's the most important part of preschool-creating the best kind of fun for kids to learn in! My favorite time of year was the family potlucks and Christmas shoes. We met all of our boys' friends parents. It was a great way for me to make friends too! Thank you for 3 great years ECC! Our youngest is sad he can't join you! They're nice and have patients for little kids. There are some pre-school near us and we don't live in Woodbridge. But we still want to send our kids to IUCC every day. read more

IUCC cares deeply about each child and it shows through their attention and affections. They helped both my daughter and son to get accustomed to an environment away from home in a short time, to the point where they love going to day care now. This is due in no small part to the love they give. They give you daily reports on how your child did and are deeply knowledgeable about everything that happened each day, down to each little sob and each little smile your child had. we toured IUCC today and will NOT be signing our child up. we got there early. the door was opened by Erma. Without any hellos, welcomes or introductions we were given a form to fill out and we were told 4 times by Erma to sit down! she then asked my sons name and as she didn't get an immediate response back, immediately tagged my son with being shy! too many red flags for us already! we were then given a few pages and walked through the 3 year old class. it was fairly small and children were being monitored as to what they are touching and what they are playing with and multiple times the kids were told what toys they should not be touching right now! then my son went ahead to play with a friend he has in this preschool. I went to the backyard with Erma and saw a teacher standing there talking on her phone but she rushed back in and brought an excuse to Erma as why she is out there by herself! the backyard was divided out and they had a lame excuse as to why a small backyard with very primitive toys were available to 3 year old class! the ratio was 24 kids to 2 adults which is not acceptable. at points i saw teachers just calling for childrens name to calm down even when they were playing sitting down in a chair and barely moving out of their seat.... this was not a natural toddler play ... they were obviously been told many times to sit down and calm down... after 10 mins I didn't have any more questions but I asked if we can stay for another 5 mins so that my son plays with his friend a bit more and Erma out right said No and started making up stories that there are other appointments she needs to attend to but I reminded her our appointment was at 10 and since we were early, we have another 17 mins for that to be done, she kept lying and after a minute she started banging on her watch and basically kicked us out! my son was crying while Erma was smiling without any sign of compassion or attempt to a resolution ... this was a "No Country for Old Men" type place, let alone kids! read more

I am so impressed with the level of care and concern I saw on a recent tour here. The Irvine ECC has a creative program conducted by a dedicated, long-time, stable teaching staff. So many quality points: low teacher/student ratio, strong safety/cleanliness focus consistent with Covid regulations; hot lunch and potty training. They have a child and parent-centered approach, and are flexible and always cheerful. They have reasonable rates and care so much for the children's happiness. I trusted this place to take good care of my baby. Approx 4 months in, she fractured her elbow in their playground. They waited over an hour to notify me of her injury. When I arrived, my daughters arm was hanging awkwardly and she was bawling. My daughter fell off their playground equipment with the teacher acknowledging that my daughter wasn't holding on to the equipment properly. My daughter was two years old at the time. The teacher acted like my two year old should've known better. When I spoke to the director, just shocked at how everything had played out she was dismissive. She basically told me that accidents happen. They refused to take any responsibility. I would not recommend this place. read more

My son has been attending this school for a half year now and so far it looks like a good choice! Compared with many other preschools in this area, we like its environment: it has bright, clean, and spacious classrooms, and also nice and big playground. The teachers are all experienced, loving, caring, and easy to talk to. You feel that they are people you can trust your child with. This is a play-based school, which means kids learn through playing. And they do offer various hands-on activities for kids to have fun. It's also nice that kids are from different cultures so they learn to respect the differences while getting along with each other. I love this place. My daughter has been there for over a month now and she looks forward to it every morning. She is two and in Ms Rose and Ms Gianna's class. When she first went there, she cried for several days, and she was hugged and comforted by teachers. I know how precious this is because my friend's daughter was in another daycare, the teacher there just ignored her and let her cry. Ms Rose and Ms Gianna are sweet and caring. Ms Gianna always talks to me and let me know how my daughter has been doing, which I really appreciate. All the staff there are nice. They all greet you and talk to you, like it's a big warm family.
