My advise if you are looking at Woodbridge Therapy is to RUN AWAY! If I could give them zero stars, I would. It's not the doctors it's the front and back office. They do not have a clue what they are doing. They were supposed to get a pre-authorization from the insurance company, but never did. so they said my daughter could not make any more appointments until they clear this up. That was FOUR MONTHS AGO!! Now they to not return my calls and will to even let us talk to the therapist who probably has no clue what is going on. I had the pleasure of speaking with and working with Su. She definitely made the experience of seeking out therapy very enjoyable. I was nervous seeking out help but Su made sure to settle any nerves. She made me feel comfortable and settled in the stresses of getting a therapist. Su may be a scheduler but went above and beyond her role. She made me feel normal again in a time where I didn't think it was possible. She allowed me to get paired with the appropriate person. I am looking forward to taking the next steps in moving forward to becoming a better person. She definitely deserves recognition, along with some extra funds to take care of her amazing family! read more

I was a patient at WTG years ago. When my clinician left the practice, I left with her. She is amazing, I still see her, but I was never pleased with WTG. Billing and reception was always difficult to communicate with. I still attempted to return for family therapy and individual therapy for my children. I've been disappointed by the lack of response and conflicting information. I went for for family therapy, with my adult family members; we were assigned a student. After two sessions she disclosed that she was leaving because her studies were complete! Why did they allow her to take on new clients? Then I completed an intake for my child. I was told he was on a waiting list. I called back repeatedly to check his status, leaving message after message. Someone finally called back, AFTER I asked for the office manager. I was told my child is too young to receive therapy at the practice!!! The child was the same age all along!!! I asked to place my older child on the waiting list and was told they aren't accepting new names for the list, since it's so long! What!?!? They've been saying they're getting new clinicians for several months, with NO indication that that is true. It has been frustrating to say the least. read more

Stay away. Poor, unprofessional service from the beginning. I wouldn't recommend. Here's why. I had to call several times to follow up regarding scheduling. Then when I did schedule I specifically asked if I had a copay/deductible. I was told no I did not. Shocked, I asked again and the scheduler said it shows here (presumably a computer) that I do not have any. So I scheduled. When I arrived for my first appointment no copay or deductible was mentioned. Then when I arrived for my second appointment I was told that I had to pay toward a deductible. The only explanation I received was that no one verified my insurance. As they slid me a bill for my first appointment I asked am I responsible for this bill given that I was misinformed by a staff member and they said yes. I paid and left. But this is bad business, it is deceptive and shady. Who's to say that wasn't intentional just to get me in. I would not recommend doing business with them. The therapist was standing right there. How can I receive therapy which involves recognition and ownership of ones issues, responsibility, accountability and correction from a therapist or therapy group that doesn't do the same with their business practices. Being a realtor, if I misinformed a client and it cost them money, they'd be asking for some of my commission. So I hold myself to a high standard, this business clearly does not. I've been working with the group for 3 years now. They are very caring and willing to help. I currently work with Tatiana, who is an angel. I needed inpatient treatment for a very distressing event but with COVID it was impossible to get in anywhere. She took it upon herself to restart doing EMDR to help me along with her sense of humor. With her help, I'm 80% better in the four months from where i was. This traumatic event took over my life and I wouldn't have been able to get through this hardship without her. I cannot thank her enough for giving me my life back. She's amazing! read more

Zero stars. Complete idiots with zero common sense. Kayla the receptionist is by far the dumbest receptionist for a medical setting. For Kayla's convenience, i must stop my grieving for the sudden loss of my child to fill out consent forms even though my appointment is the following week. Keep in mind they are only CONSENT forms. They are off on Monday so Kayla's world is priority and my mental health is not. Stay away. read more

This practice is the worst practice I have ever been to if you are looking for a practice who cares about patients then this is not the place for you as they are very rude and nasty to everyone who comes in the doors the clinicians are amazing but Manager is so unprofessional and rude I came in to start service and immediately walked out beacause who wants to walk into an office with people piled in the front cussing and talking about things that should never be said in a work place i do not recommend this place as you will leave worse then you came in due to management this is sad that a business is ran down and pushing customers away because of the unprofessionalism of the operations manager. read more

I Tried To Call The Woodbridge Office Several Times To Get My Son Scheduled Even Left A Message And NO ONE Called Back. Today I Called And Finally Spoke With Someone To Schedule An Appointment And Now There's A Waiting List. Are You Freaking Kidding ME a Whole Month Later Now!!!!! I Suggest Getting Your Counseling Services Elsewhere This Place Is A Joke!!!! Run! I urge you to please do yourself the favor and seek services anywhere but here! The front desk staff doesn't know how to get emails to patients, they don't even send appointment confirmation emails. They do not return calls in a timely fashion. Every single appointment - I had someone trying to get me to sign again for charges I already approved. They will have you waiting for months, only to provide you a poorly done report. My report felt like it was written about someone else that tells you how well they listen. Not only that, my name was misspelled every appointment and even on my official report it is misspelled and scores were missing as well. It's clear that Heminj, the psychologist that claims to be supervising their unlicensed residents does not review their work at all. Otherwise those errors would have been caught. The attention to detail is nonexistent. Please don't exacerbate your current situation and by all means avoid this grossly incompetent practice. read more

First off, their posted hours are a straight-up lie. When I tried to make an appointment, they said their latest appointment was at 4pm and I needed to be there earlier to fill out paperwork. I work full-time, and don't even get back into Woodbridge until 3:45pm. Still, they promised that after my initial appointment, they would be able to give me later appointments. So... like an idiot, I made a 4pm appointment. The day of the appointment, I worked my butt off so that I could leave early. When I got there -15 min early- they told me that I could no longer have an appointment. The provider had left early, and there was no one else available to see me. They said they had tried to call me, but when I checked my phone, the call was literally as I was parking the car to go in. When I tried to make another appointment, they told me they wouldn't have another 4pm appointment for over a month and I needed to come in earlier. In short, if you work at a job where you can't regularly take time off, don't even bother trying to make an appointment here. read more

After waiting and calling The front office staff they say they have no idea why but my appointment was "cancelled". No communication, no show. Extremely unprofessional. Sadly, I haven't had an appointment because their receptionists lack competence, integrity, and basic active listening skills. I chose this practice based on the false advertisement on their website in terms of appointment availability. Their advertised hours of 8-8 are far from accurate for providers who service VA patients. As a result of me currently having weekly chiropractic appointments and physical therapy appointments, I need flexibility for scheduling after 5 pm. The providers who service VA patients do not see clients after 5 pm, nor do they have the option of accommodating every other Friday appointments regardless of time. Aside from their poor availability, the fact that their receptionists were rude, unorganized, and inefficient proves that this practice should be reevaluated for VA patient suitability. I spoke with a receptionist 21 June 2017 at 12:10 PM for four minutes and thoroughly explained my availability. She insisted that I would receive a follow-up call in two days with an appointment, after she spoke with the provider who services VA patients. I received a phone call on 23 June 2017 from Lisa, a different receptionist with whom my aggravating conversation lasted 15 exhausting minutes. Aside from Lisa wasting 15 minutes of my time while in Texas coping with the loss of a 7-year old love one, she insisted that she still needed to call me back. She explained that she needed additional time to check with a provider to see if they could accommodate me and would follow-up with me after she arrived at work 12 PM on Monday, 26 June 2017. During those 15 agonizing minutes, Lisa was very dismissive, did not listen to me, and consistently spoke over me. After speaking with Lisa, it was clear that she and her colleague do not exercise effective communication skills or internal business processes. Today is 30 June 2017 and Lisa did not call. Lisa lied. Lisa represents everything that has been wrong with my attempts to schedule mental health appointments with this practice; inconsiderate, untruthful, and dismissive. I cancelled my consult with the Woodbridge Therapy Group, because they are an inefficient and unaccommodating practice that lacks integrity and basic customer service skills which cause undue stress on potential clients. This has been an unnecessarily overwhelming process, because the professionals entrusted to care for us lack the very skills that they are trying to instill in us. Empathy, compassion, emotional intelligence, and active listening skills would have been much more appreciated than the dismissive, unethical, and unresponsive support that I received. read more
