The atmosphere was warm, with a courious energy, the house well staged, and the prices very fair. There is always such a unique flavor to his sales that we can't find anywhere else. I have to address the impecable staging! It just puts you in the mood to hunt, dig, explore, poke around, and shop! Most importantly, it transfers you into the world of the homewoner and makes you forget your own life for a while. It's a wonderful feeling and I have never found any other estate sale company that has the ability to do that for me. He and his staff are always so kind and helpful. Often there is music playing that sets the stage as well. The temperature is good and there's an electric buzz in the air becuase we love to see the excitement of the faces of other shoppers too! He really does everything he can to make it a good experience for customers, and most importanly, for HIS CLIENTS! I have never been so insulted or felt utterly horrified that someone profiled me as a shoplifter. I was there with a dear friend of mine that was shocked at the way this woman snatched an item out of my hands and gave no warning. She stumbled over her words saying she would put it up front for me for safe keeping so i could shop some more. Then she followed me and my friend around the store. There were lots of customers in the shop at the same time we were there. Prior to this, I had done some research and purchased a couple of books to try to get a rough approximation of what the coins were worth, but wanted to get a professional opinion. Ron definitely knew his stuff; he's been into coins since he was a kid, and his knowledge was very apparent. He went through my coin inventory, gave me prices he'd pay if we were interested in selling, talked shop for a bit, and didn't charge me a dime. If we do decide to sell anything, he'll be the first place I go. And if you're interested in buying, he has a nice inventory of coins for purchase.
