We visited the store recently and there were quite a few shoppers. A young girl (20's maybe) was looking around the the person working there followed her around and watched everything the young girl touched or looked at. It was very uncomfortable and I was embarrassed for the young lady. From her looks alone, (besides heavy makeup, which is no reason to judge) there was no reason for the clerk to act like this. It was judgmental in my opinion. I don't think we'll be back. It was not a relaxing shopping experience. read more

Nice antique store in downtown Silverton. Felt a little bigger than the place next door and I enjoyed looking at what they had for sale, but alas we didn't find any treasures on this visit. I'm sure we'll be back to check it out again on our next trip to Silverton. read more

It was nice, at first glance. But on closer look, many things were fake and fairly high priced. A lot of press board furniture and the stained glass was a do-it-yourself kind of crafty thing. Was well done but too spendy for fake. Nothing remarkable about this store. read more

We bought several items at the store and were quite impressed with this quaint, neat, well dressed shop. The shop owner is very sweet and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable. We bought a dresser and she helped my husband load it on to his truck, since I could not. I would certainly recommend you stop and shop there if you are in the Silverton area. read more

I took my 88 year old mother for an antique-ing outing from Portland, Oregon. Our destination was North Star Antiques, and we were delighted with our experience. North Star clearly cares about the quality of their pieces. They are displayed beautifully, and nicely curated. The prices are fair, with good deals to be found through-out. As a plus, the service was welcoming and helpful. At check-out we were delighted by the complimentary hand -sewn sacks, tied by ribbons, to carry our treasures. There are several other antique stores on the same street, so we had lots to explore. Our lunch 3 Ten Water just down the street rounded out our day with delicious fish and chips!
