Their are always plenty of customers in the small salon and my hairstylist (Whitney) is absolutely booked full daily. She is great. But although I love my stylist, the salon itself is a bit dirty. I often wonder if the salon gets a thorough scrub every week, or even once a month. i know it's a salon, and hair does fly everywhere, but the amount of dust on the stations, dust and hair on the borders, and bits of old god-knows-what on the washing stations, makes me feel a bit squirmy. The second waiting area (where people sit to let their colored hair.. well.. color), has a rug. You can imagine how that looks with the pieces of hair flying everywhere. The washing station chairs have a small pop-up bench to support your legs, but it's so old, it is worn, and really doesn't support your legs at all. This place needs a good clean up and shape up to meet my standards.
