I gave them one start for answering the phone. They run their business like are in the same ledge as salons in France or Italy only Venues protocol is ridiculous. I only called to make a color appointment and what I had to do was more involved than making a medical appointment. I guess they had to come up with ways to justify there price or to make money. Came in for a color correction and highlights. The only thing done was highlights and toner. The highlights were lighter than the blonde on the lower half of my hair. There was no color correction done and I left spending $400 looking like a train wreck. read more

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Venue Salon! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and relaxed. My chai latte they handed me was probably the best I've ever had! I was treated with a facial and head message, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. The facial was soothing- my skin felt so refreshed and glowed afterwards. Jackie took the time to assess my skin's needs, and used only Aveda signature products. The head message and hair wash from Natalie was equally wonderful, easing all the tension I didn't realize I had. IT WAS PERFECT! The vibe of Venue is calm and inviting, with gentle music and it's quiet and relaxing. Everything was immaculately clean, and I love the natural and eco-conscious vibe that Aveda is known for. my oh my. venue is an amazing escape for me. i literally feel welcomed and greeted with calm and kindness upon walking into the door. as i make my way back to amanda's chair & space, the young lady from reception brings the chai latte she had previously suggested as a calming drink. oh and i cannot say enough anout the professionalism. these employees act like a family but work like a team. i can see why amanda is really happy in this space. as am i. i cannot say it loud enough how amazing the talent that she has. i drive an hour each way to come for my cut & highlights. and i always leave feeling better than i came. imagine if every establishment were like this? if you are looking for a new stylist or fabulously chill Aveda salon, i would recommend Venue! read more

This is by far one of the best places in Lakeland. I have struggled for so long finding a place that will listen and do it right the first time, and the second, and the third. I have short hair, so not everyone can cut short hair despite what they tell you, but not here. They find a stylist who can do your style, and it's been phenomenal!!! read more

Ever since Michelline Salon Spa sold her business to Venue it fell down like a ton of bricks! Feels like you're going in for surgery instead of a haircut! And finally, when Colin left it was the last straw! Their customer service and overall aura is nothing short of STERILE. It only has a high rating because its piggy backing on reviews from when Micheline still owned it! If you're a Colin client DONT return to venue. Hes at Hair Studio S down part Fitzgerald on left next to Sonnys bbq! I doubt venue will last 6 months! read more

Got the worst haircut of my life here by Payton, who was so high on pills, I thought she was going to fall asleep while she cutting my hair. I asked for 3-4 inches taken off and showed her a picture of the style I wanted. She decided instead to take about 14 inches off, and I left looking like Jennifer Aniston from the 90's. I also sent a review and email asking to speak to a manager and no one bothered to get back to me. Horrible experience on every level. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I will for this one. I am used to a a great/ high-end salon in NYC where they give you great services especially the haircut and hairstyling that we want. I found out about this salon through internet, and it said its good. I came to this Salon this December of 2014, I thought"Oh finally" hopefully it will be the salon for me. I requested for the senior stylist. Greg charges (haircut only) $60 plus $15 for long hair . When I came they offered me tea/coffee, the receptionist is great. However, I don't care about tea or the complimentary shoulder massage which Greg didnt do good. He was just like touching my scalp and shoulder,no pressure even just a little bit. SO I don't care about that. What I care the most is, you thought he'll be a great hari stylist but NO NO NO. A simple long layering of hair, he didnt do it right. When on introductions I was very cleared of what I want. I waited for a long time to have my hair cut since I am scared that they would do it wrong. I told Gregg, One-sided LONG bangs. He didn't do it like how we talked about. WASTE Of MONEY. I could have went to a cheaper salon and would do so much better. And the MANICURE, horrible horribe. The one that did mine is a hair stylist, it seems like they dont have staff to do it so she did my manicure, and it was horrible. I cannot believe this. Deep inside I almost cried. So please don't be on the same fate. Greg would tell you how wonderful cook he is, but he's not a good hair stylist/ hair cutter. Please he'll murder your hair. PLEASE DON'T COME and PAY MUCH AMOUNT OF MONEY for nothing. GREG IS A TOTAL FAIL!!!! Nope Nope Nope read more
