They have many outdoor plants, trees, bushes, etc, as well, but I made my way here in late Summer, so houseplants were definitely the goal. The indoor shop is pleasant and open with limited gift items like cards, candles, and prints, plus a variety of planters, but the majority is reserved for (mostly basic) indoor plants, with many more housed in the adjoining greenhouse. I experienced some serious sticker shock when finding philodendron birkin, million hearts dischidia, and fishbone cactus (along with others) priced over $50. Look, Freckle Farm knows what is trending and are taking advantage of it, and people must be buying these sought after if overpriced beauties, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I've seen the same plants elsewhere for a quarter of the cost. They also have THE plant of the moment, a pink princess philodendron, for the low, low price of $425 (insert eye roll here). Another frustration: they were recording a video for Instagram, and they are very active on Instagram, so I get it, but also, I kept jumping out of the way and missing things I wanted to look at because of it. I feel like you should pay attention to the customers in front of you, first and foremost, and it just made me feel like a nuisance. Not to mention, none of those participating in the filming bothered to say anything to me once finished. Along those same lines, even though there were several employees milling around, when I was ready to check out, I waited at the register for several minutes. Another patron even entered, stood next to me for some time, then, exasperated, said, "What? Are they really ALL busy?" On the other hand, I excitedly nabbed a personal wishlist plant: Natal Mohagany, at three feet tall and under $30, along with perfect small neon pothos and N'Joy Pothos to add to a planter. They truly have a lovely mix of goods, and I think I could forgive either the exorbitant prices or poor customer service, but not both.

The value of the stuff they put out on the sales floor is absolute garbage compared to the stuff they throw away, they throw away over half of the donations they receive so don't even bother donating to them. they hardly have any selection that isn't Mormon approved or just is a Mormon product, I can't tell you how many good things I had to throw away because It didn't fit the Mormon image. They bully employees in front of customers even if the customers threaten to go to the state about, they refuse to put out chairs for cashiers that have arthritis or any other medical problem. They will purposely under staff the teams during Saturdays and refuse to help out when we get slammed fully knowing Saturdays are our busiest day of the week. They make fun of customers who don't speak English like it's their fault for not speaking English and found it absolutely insulting to have to translate everything back into the customer's language. She helped a different customer and a third person came out a young lady and like the other two welcome to me very warmly and between the two young women they worked on my problem. They knew what they were doing they were knowledgeable about what their product was and which battery I needed specifically for my motorcycle. I cannot tell you the quality the battery yet I'll have to get back to you in 5 years but as far as service alone I would definitely come back next time I need a battery! Very good customer service. I purchased a battery for my 4 wheeler in November 2025, I gave the 4 wheeler to my son and he…read morewould not take the battery said he did not want or need it, I live 25 miles from the interstate battery store so I was not able to return it during the three days they give it was almost a month the new battery did not have the acid in and was not activated the acid is still in the package it came in nothing had been taken out of the box. The worker would not take it back and then said that he would give me a 50% refund on the $117.00 battery and that is not acceptable. as I reflect on my purchases from Interstate I have had to buy a new battery for my wheeler every year, if they only last one year does that mean they are designed to fail after a year weather they have had acid in them or not. I would not recommend Interstate Batteries ever again and will go elsewhere in the future.
