Because of that I'd recommend to get a house from someone else considering the price…read more As far as the plans go, very little effort was put into the interior design AND there's nothing special about the homes. Looks "nice"; the space in, out and around the home is limited (hence, tract homes). Also, they could've used better materials and products to build the home, but it's all guidelines, and those have gone down in my opinion. Not spacious at all once you move in feels like my old apartment. Our master bedroom/shower/closet was nice though. There were bigger homes and they tried to make them stand out by adding a loft but I observed that this reduced in size of the bedrooms. There's virtually no back yards, some less than others. The communities where tract homes are built seem to be designed to fit more homes in it and because of that, the roadways are not as wide as normal, they are essentially one-lane streets, I say this because the driveways are also smaller, smaller than the ones our dads and grandads had so the cars spew out onto the curbs reducing road width and creating a parking battle. The community where I bought my home was built on a plot at a lower level than the community that had just been completed so my backyard got the slope end, that's 5-9 grand for a proper retainer wall... wouldn't even help with that... The garage is smaller too, you could fit 2 small cars but nothing else will fit around them so good luck with storage. My truck barely fit (down to the inch), wide was ok could've been 3-5ft wider in my opinion. We did get some help as far as credits went but you can get double even triple what we got as help from someone else come closing time. With that said, for the quality of them home, design and how much property you actually get I'd suggest going elsewhere that not only understands the value of your family income/dollar but respects it. Home did have some electrical, grout, caulking and paint issues but thankfully there are warranties. Nonetheless, we did purchase with them and got the home we asked for, but pricey tbh. Interests sucked, yes, but I think the home (because of the property) was over priced compared to what it was worth (hence what I mentioned above). The location is the reason we purchased with them, also in our budget... I recommend not buying into these new tract home communities, your dollar can get you more elsewhere. I guess they're Wathen Trumark now.

Don't even want to give them 1 star.... Horrible homes, very cheap. House is falling apart before 1…read moreyear.... Horrible customer service...

Extremely disappointed with this company. What a waste of my time and money to get nothing for what…read moreI paid for! They knew my budget upfront was a $100k and they said they could complete the job with the targeted budget. After I paid 7k for their so call design fees, they gave me a construction price of $321k. Their design team gave me no innovative ways to lower the cost other than shrinking the size of the addition from a large bedroom to a tiny office. They knew we were expanding our home to accommodate our special needs child and I felt that they led us on with false promises, when they clearly did not want to complete the job. Our main goal, was to expand home to accommodate our special needs child so he could have his own space. Their design team did not think outside the box when I asked to give me different ideas we could accomplish this within our budget. It was very disappointing that they gave me back my same designs I originally gave them. DODSON BUILDERS CONSTRUCTION miss lead their customers by saying "yes, we can complete your remodel within your budget but you have to pay a non-refundable 7k" when DODSON Builders knew they were going to over charge their customers. Please think twice before going with them.

They listened to my wants and needs, and implemented each need with the perfect touch of functionality and personality. The owner, Peter, and Mike were extremely communicative and I always knew what was going on and what to expect. Luiz was like a house guest when in my home working, curious and friendly. They sought out new lighting alternatives that would best fit my needs as a visually impaired man, and went the extra mile to make sure all my needs were met. They were always timely, and my and daughter and I felt completely comfortable having them here working. I highly recommend. --Greg and Brooke

We moved in at 12/21/2019 to Granville Home Deauville East. The first two family moved in. Around…read morethe same time frame, all house with the same size plan and same landscape plan, every units has two rows of plants at their front yard window and only ours second row with only two plants which six spot need to be done, missed 4-5 plants. Few days before closing, we saw it and talk to the landscapers working next door and they said they would come back next day to finish it, and nothing was done? After we moved in, we were told we need to file in with customer service and which we did. Later on Granville deny us for asking extra plants and it is not allowed? I walk around the community and 95% same house plan has two rows of plants, and we only have 1.2 rows finished and four spot were not done which is incomplete work and Granville Homes refused to finish the ---incomplete landscape work-----? I ask why all others has two rows of plants and I only have 1.2 rows with 4 spots undone? Granville use a picture to show us a house has only one complete row plant..I request for the house address and phase releasing date to prove it same as my purchase. weather the house is in my community and release time around the same time frame as we purchased. Granville customer service manager Ashlee Perritte and owner Darius Assemi totally ignored many of our e-mails and close the case? They refused to finish the -incomplete works- and refused to prove the photo with only one complete row is similar release phase as we purchased. I requested for proof but no answer again and again!!! Granville using a photo from no where with no date, no address? no phase of release? It is very irresponsible for Granville Homes to treat their home buyers after we bought the house! We don't want any compensation, we just only want Granville to finish the work? Granville Homes just won't finish their work. Although It is a very small job need to be completed, and cost nothing---plant four more plants. It really bothers me a lot is the ugly Granville style attitude towards their home buyer after you paid the house?
