She buys and refinishes quality furniture and does a nice job. No "shabby" sheik here. The artwork from a local artist upstairs is good too. You can tell the owner is picky about what she offers. Funny story...I am an artist of sorts and am out here on the Cape caring for a family member. My friends asked me if I'd painted anything interesting since I got here and I said, "like what?" One said, "we'll, any rocks or sea shells?" So when I met the owner and she asked if I was looking for anything special, I said, "Well, since you asked, do you have any large cape sea shells?" (Just expecting her to laugh.) But she said, "just a minute" and then came back with two large clam shells she and her husband had gathered from the bay last summer. She gave them to me for free.
