Mr. Leon and his workers removed both layers of the old tiles and installed new tiles. They did not rush for completion of the work and took about 3 weeks to do a great job. Gilberto went with us to the tile store to select the tiles and his people brought the tiles from the store to our house. They covered the furniture or moved it to the garage and covered it nicely to avoid any damage or dust. After all the work was done they put the furniture back in the house. They also hung all the paintings and pictures. Gilberto Leon came with the workers and checked on the work. He also followed up with us from time to time and kept us informed on the progress. We are extremely pleased with his service and we have hired him to do the paint in the garage and all the outside walls. His estimate was high, but I ended hiring him because he called me stating that he can match any estimate. At the end, he charged more than anyone else because materials were not included, but were included on all others. I paid a total of $ 7,642.02 For that amount of money, he was supposed to deliver a good and "Prestige"quality job. 1- He lowered the ceiling in a room where he was supposed to only remove the popcorn. 2 - The material used for the project was not the right material, wasn't strong enough to hold the drywall to the ceiling. 3 - The paint used started to peel the very next day. 4 - The ceiling started cracking the very next day he fixed it. 5 - The ceiling is bulging. He came 3 times after he finished but can't be fix because the whole structure wasn't made properly. 6 - I specifically told him that I had multiple eye surgeries due to retinal detachment on both eyes and I was very sensitive to light. I needed warm light, instead, he put 5K lights all over my place, the ones that are commonly use for garages, not for homes. When I asked about the lights, he lied and told me that those were soft white... After many days, asking him to prove that those strong lights were soft white, he finally confessed and agreed to replace them. 7 - The finish of the ceiling is not flat or knocked down. Has different textures everywhere and patches. Now my ceiling is bulging, you can see bumps and lines everywhere. To fix the problem I would have to demolish everything and start all over, which will cost me $10,500 at least.

After a while the installer refused to come and repair the loose tiles. Over time I would not put up with popping floors. I called several flooring vendors and asked if they would come and remedy my flooring problem. I failed at securing any vendor to even come and look at my floor. I searched a well advertised contractor website that put my in touch with 3 flooring installation contractors. Of the 3 contractors, PERFECT SOLUTIONS & MORE far surpassed the other 2 contractors. The owner, Brian Miller, came to my home and told me about the history of his company. He assessed the conditions of my floor and showed me what is causing the vinyl flooring to pop up. The installer did not install a moister barrier to prevent wetness forming under the flooring. The humidity in the apartment created the moister on the cement slab and that is all she wrote. I had no choice but to replace the entire floor. Brian Miller was sympathetic to my demise. He took measurements and explained how the work would be done. Brian took me to one of his flooring distributors to select a new floor. Brian work some magic and got our flooring delivered rather quickly. His install team were impressively professional, neat and well experienced in the installation of flooring. The new floor is beautiful and SOLID!
