At the dealership everyone was friendly, but I was not allowed to test drive my truck because it was blocked by other trucks. I purchased it in Baxley and the salesman (Ryan) said they would deliver it to me in Valdosta on a Rollback and he would be with them to get everything activated in the truck. He also stated he would call me the next business day to set everything up. None of these things happened. Someone from the Woody Folsom dealership drove it to Valdosta, so I didn't even get to drive it until it had over 100 miles on it. It clearly was never detailed and missing at least a quarter tank of gas. I noticed some damages, such as scratches and cuts throughout the interior and dash. The delivery driver walked around the truck with me as I took pictures of the damages. They contacted the salesman to let him know I was not happy with what I found. He assured me all the damages I found would be fixed and said it would probably be next week when they could take care of it or hire a local company to fix everything. It has been weeks now. I sent text messages, emails, and even used the "Contact Us" on the Woody Folsom homepage. I didn't get a response from the dealership's homepage. Ryan confirmed on the texts and emails that they will take care of everything and he would call me back to set it up. At this point I feel like a bill collector trying to get in touch with the salesman to honor the repair agreement. Shady shady shady..... We should have known better, but our daughter wanted a 2022 Bronco in a specific color, and when she got the call that they had one in, her excitement took over. She told me the price , and my mistake, I assumed that that was the sticker price .. I agreed. I knew that in this market you are not able to buy certain vehicles under MSRP. Well, we did the deal within a few hours .. since we had to travel in from two hours away.. and after all of the paperwork was signed .. I kept asking the young sales guy for the window sticker. He said that they must have taken it off when they were cleaning the car, but that he was going to get it to me. Well, that never happened ..... and when I got home I saw that they had OUR Bronco listed for $15,000 less on their website. I sent the sales guy the screenshot .. no reply. A friend of ours owns several dealerships and informed me that by LAW the Monroney label, the window sticker, is a universal data sheet mandated on all new passenger vehicles 10,000 pounds or less sold in the U.S. It's meant to keep shoppers from getting swindled. It lists essential vehicle information such as vehicle equipment, safety rating, fuel economy, parts origin and suggested retail price free from marketing spin. If a dealer sells a vehicle above MSRP, he has to declare that on the same window sticker. Woody Folsom's dealership did not follow the federal guidelines and nobody from this dealership OR ford will take responsibility for this. I have contacted all of them. I finally went online and for $8 had to buy my own window sticker ! I will never buy a FORD from anyone again. If Ford as a brand stands behind a shady dealership like this one, I don't want to drive one of their vehicles neither. For you all who think that buying local is a great thing to support your local community.. think AGAIN unless you like to get swindled... I will continue to buy my vehicles from the big dealers in JAX, Tampa or ATL.. at least there they don't BS you !! CAR BUYERS BEWARE !!!! read more

Very unfortunate experience buying a 2019 Pre owned Ford Roush Raptor. There were several issues that were supposed to be fixed when I picked up the truck. None were fixed when I showed up to take delivery and I was promised they would pickup them truck and fix them once parts were in. I've been lied to by the salesman "Brady" ,the service department at both Chevy and Ford on multiple occasions. It's been over 90 days and still no resolution from them. Brady the salesman won't return my calls or messages. I was told Chad, a manager, would be calling me for resolution and have never been called back. Shari Peebles, the customer service manager, has been non responsive to my emails and has transferred my calls to the service department where I continue to get the run around. It's really unbelievable how they have treated me. I wouldn't recommend them and will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the states attorney general. read more

ZERO Customer Service! If I could have given Zero stars I would have. Bought a 2018 Chevrolet from them in 2019. Had to have the transmission replaced the very next year. We have one problem after another with this truck and always get the run around. That "LIFETIME POWERTRAIN" warranty they have is nothing but a JOKE. Just recently they had to come to Douglas to get my truck and then after 2 weeks of going round and round about my warranty (Which they said was no longer valid, because of some BS services that I have never even heard of) and them telling me they had not even looked at my truck yet to see what was wrong. I told them I was sending someone to pick it up, the driver gets there and Woody's is charge me for a Diagnostics fee. When I called and asked the Service Manager and the District Manager about why I was being charged when they told me they have not even looked at the truck yet it; all they could say was I'm sorry somebody told you wrong and if you want your truck back you will have to pay the service fee. These fools literally were holding my truck for ransom. That will be the last dime these folks ever get from us. Well that was stage two of these peoples incompetency I traveled to my county DMV to collect my paperwork and finally drive legally. Oh no not so easy,after many hours at DMV the paperwork and registration was for a Chevrolet,not for an Escalade. But thanks to my county's courteous and respectful ladies after many hours of correcting ALL the wrongs of the office mgrs. at woody folsoms auto group,I left & had to correct serial numbers with the deputy sheriffs office and my auto insurance group. Buying a new truck from Woody Folsom was the worst decision I have made in a long time. They refused to honor my warranty, which resulted in a wreck that could have killed my wife and cost me over $20,000 for repairs to my truck. My wife and I bought a new 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 from Woody Folsom last year in Baxley, Georgia. Within days, I noticed that the new Michelin tires on the truck were vibrating violently. I took it to Spence Chevrolet in Thomasville, which was much closer than Baxley to my job as a plantation manager. Spence ran a standard 'lateral runout test" on all 4 tires and determined that 3 of the 4 were defective and could not be balanced. Two of the tires were in the "Red" zone and one was in the "Yellow" zone. One tire tested out at 66 lbs., twice the acceptable limit. The service manager at Spence sent the written test results to Woody Folsom together with a note saying the tires were defective, dangerous and should be replaced immediately. When Woody Folsom sent a wrecker to take the truck back to Baxley, I assumed the tires would be replaced under my new tire warranty which provides coverage "against defects in material or workmanship under the bumper to bumper warranty coverage." But when I picked up the truck, I found that Woody Folsom had simply rotated the tires and was refusing to do anything about them. The service manager told me, "These tires are good. Whoever told you they are bad doesn't know what the hell they are talking about." Before I could replace the tires on my own, my wife was driving the truck on a clear, paved road when the most defective tire (66 lbs.) exploded, sending the truck into a ditch at approximately 45 mph. The wreck caused serious injury to my wife and damages in excess of $20,000 to the truck, including the replacement of a bent frame. I was without a truck for 4 months while trying to raise money for the repairs. There was no insurance for any of this. My wife is still undergoing treatment for her injuries. After the accident, I went on www.vehicletire.com/Consumer-Complaint/MichelinLTXA/T2 regarding the same tires that came on my truck. Several of the complaints involved unexplained blowouts of new Michelin tires, just like mine. I would advise anyone not to buy a truck or car from Woody Folsom. They will not stand behind the sale or the new vehicle or new tire warranty. You may suffer like I have suffered. My only option now is to file a lawsuit against Woody Folsom, General Motors and Michelin Tire Company. read more

Shopper Beware. The sales team will inform you they can make a deal on the terms you need and have no problem contacting you about your needs and making that sale, but dont expect them them to haggle at all or give you a solid amount for your trade. However when it comes to brass tacks finance will shop your credit and then after wasting your entire day will inform you they can make a deal at $300 to $400 more than the deal that sales told you they could make. Do yourself a favor and get preapproved from a single lender before this dealer drops a bomb on your credit. read more

I am a internet buyer and price I paid was fair but the customer service after the sale is terrible. It took them over a month the pay my trade in off so I had to make another payment on it. When I called to ask for the money back I got the run around for another 3 weeks. When I first bought a truck from them, I referred 2 people to them and after calling many times to get my referral checks, I can not get a call back from my salesman so I've given up on that. Next I had my car there for repairs and it took almost 3 weeks for them to order and replace a skid plate. While the car was there it was drive to someones home and also to a mortgage broker(the truck was sold with a tracking system). When I called to find out why, the only thing I was told was they would look into it and they were sorry. When our car was delivered back to us it was filthy inside and out. My son and daughter-in-law live in the deepest part of GA, the part where big dealerships don't exist. That means you have to drive an hour to find one. I did that and found this place. I should have looked harder. First, this place is so cliche. From the deep accents, to the way they treat women like they're idiots when they try to buy a car, to the way when you walk in they just got a week's worth of gossip off of you.. Listen to their hold music, it will take you back to Hee Haw. I think it sounds ridiculous, but I'm not their demographic so whatever. Got a salesman who lied through his teeth. If you want someone that is so classically a car salesperson, see Dusty. Whew, they crafted all TV salesmen after this guy. He tried high-balling me on a car (his job, I get it) until I took out my smartphone (so high tech!) and started looking around at other car lots near and calling out random prices until he came down. He still jacked me, but again, his job. I get it. I'm not mad about that. This is what I'm mad about: While waiting on finance I had my grandsons with me. They LOVE cars. Their dad builds them and has instilled a love of them and so in a car dealership they were giddy trying to drive the latest Stingray (as any normal, car loving boy would do) and ride the motorcycle with the clown face on it. MY daughter in law and I were trying to get them to the car, they were being a little loud and we didn't want them to disrupt the place when my daughter in law overheard this overweight, ugly woman sitting at the reception desk (YES, SHE WORKED THERE) sneer in her deeply southern ignorant accent 'when I tell MY niece to come on, I only have to tell her once.' My daughter in law does not like passive aggression and asked the woman what she said and they almost got into an argument. I stepped in and asked what the problem was and this woman's face wrinkled up like a bad horror movie character and I wanted to say 'you DO realize I'm a customer here and I'm about to buy a car, right?. Instead I just told her to never mind. She went back to talking under her breath which is fine with me. I don't have to sit behind a receptionist desk and answer phones at a shitty dealership and wear KMart clothes, so whatever, but I was irked. Went to finance and talked to some guy who told me I had bad credit so the terms would suck. I pulled out a recent credit report (it was in a work folder coincidentally) and showed him what a liar he was. He told me that what he used was 'official.' Except what he was telling me was on the report was wrong. I have never had a loan through Wells Fargo AND I bank with them. You think you run up bad debt with a bank they'll give you multiple accounts? Do I look stupid? Or just female? Anyway, I ended up going through my credit union which gave me a super low rate. These guys are just...ugh. As an addendum to just my visit to them I also had MASSIVE problems with the truck they sold me. I mean, for months and months and thousands of dollars. We found out that they had just gotten the truck that day or the day before, but really, really recently. So recent that they didn't do any checking of the vehicle before selling it. No engine check, parts check, nothing. The interior was FILTHY. That was fine, we knew they could clean that (eventually). There was everything wrong with this truck. There were so many problems that the finance manager (I forgot his name) offered to give us our money back. We should have now that we think about it. I would not recommend buying used from this unprofessional, shoddy dealership. I'm not from the country, I don't have to lie or be nice. They need to shut this place down, it's a rip off. read more

Going through some personal issues and needed to trade my 2018 truck in for a cheaper payment. After a month of helping me my salesman was finally able to help. Along with trading truck and a tractor to help with negative equity. Got windows tinted in truck very next day. On following business day I find out the financial director at woodys gave some of personal information out to a person who it didn't need to get to. I went back to dealership that day to talk to man. After waiting for over an hour all the man could do was say sorry. After leaving and thinking about it I was not satisfied with what he had done and the dealership doing nothing in return (not even a hat or shirt?). I then emailed the owner after talking to the rude staff at front desk. After a very nice long email about situation I got no response. The next day the sales manager called to talk to me. Once again nothing but a sorry. Still not satisfied with giving personal information out I told them I would drop it and they can take my tractor out of deal. They said they could but then I would have to pay the difference. Furious at this point I wanted my truck back and give them theirs back I'd go somewhere else. At first they said I couldn't but later decided to do that. Asked them to bring 200 as well for the new tint job I just put on this truck. Once again denied. I still have the second set of keys they haven't asked for. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WOODY FOLSOM DEALERSHIP at all. After buying three vehicles before I will not go back and will spread the word why. Good buying experience. Sales rep's name was Matt, and he did a good job. After I pulled off the lot with my 2016 Jeep Wrangler it all fell apart from that point. 1st problem: wrong VIN # on contract. Aggravating, but Woody Folsom fixed problem by driving new contract to my home. 2nd problem: traded a vehicle on 12/26/15, and bank that held note for traded vehicle did not receive payoff until 1/20/16. 3rd problem: tag office has not received paper work from Woody Folsom as of 2/5/16. I called dealership and was transferred to "Tiffany". A lady picked up and said Tiffany would not be in for 30 minutes. I gave her my info and was told Tiffany would call me as soon as she got to work. 2 hours later no call back, so I called Woody Folsom back and asked for Tiffany ( 10 minutes on hold) Tiffany finally picks up. I tell her my tag office does not have the paper work to process my tag for my new Jeep. She tells me she tried calling a week ago to ask me what tag office to send it to. 2 problems here: 1st of all it is as simple as Googling the city and state on my contract to find the county tag office to send the paper work to. 2nd she had written my phone number down wrong. Last # is a 6 and she had written down a 5. I know the dealership has correct # because they called me several times regarding the incorrect VIN#. I tried calling the incorrect phone # and it is NOT even a working #. It is safe to say Woody Folsom has: a great selection, a super clean dealership, at least one good salesman. However it does NOT have any customer service after the sale. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM WOODY FOLSOM AGAIN. read more
