Might want to get in there earlier in the day if you want a larger variety in the meat section as it seems to shift fairly quickly, Same goes for the fresh bread/baguettes they have in the back near the deli (the ones on the clear cupboard) but the bread in those is amazing and the 6 pack bags of turkish rolls are fantastic and a decent price for a quality!. There is a ton of variety if you are a fan of gluten free or alternative foods/health options as they seems to have more of that than other stuff., Sadly their deli is a bit lacking but that's mainly because it isn't as big as most supermarkets but they will gladly slice meats for you fresh as long as you get there before 7pm..as the sign says they use cleaning fluid on it around that time and can't use it afterwards.

It's relatively small, but it's really convenient if you live in the Yarraville / Seddon area, because you can avoid Footscray Coles which is a fairly rotten experience. The two good things about it are: 1. One of the check out girls is deaf and uses sign language but has pointing down to a fine art. It's pretty awesome to see her in action. 2. They have a great range of Melinda's gluten free goodies.

This includes gluten free items/brands that they are not providing replacements for. Every so often, something I buy regularly is just gone, and when I enquire, I am told, "we don't stock that anymore." It's a bit of a shame, as I don't have time to visit multiple supermarkets during the week, so we have started trying to do our main shop at Safeway on the weekends. They just have more options. It means driving an extra 15 mins or so, but that's what we have to do.

I came here for the fresh, cheaper than the supermarkets fruit and veg but I've stayed because of the biggest variety I've ever seen for gourmet goods, deli goods, continental, International and ethnic foods and spices. You can't go past the delectable range of olives here, in particular the kalamata olives and green stuffed olives with capsicum or mild chilli's. Bocconcini and feta cheese is to die for, and you have to try out the assortment of herbs and spices. So cheap, so plentiful, so wonderful - you just have to come here to experience true gourmet deli produce.
