I have been living here for about a year and a half and never noticed this spot. I was at a store across the street and I noticed the restaurant. I had been wanting some Korean food for a while. I decided to stop by and I was not disappointed. I got the Grilled Chicken, Mandu, Bulgogi and White Rice, Japchae, and Macaroni Salad. The Mandu was cooked perfectly, the Bulgogi was juicy and flavorful, and the Japchae was nice and firm, not mushy. There was a nice authentic feel to the restaurant. I lived in Korea for a while and had their food firsthand. They were able to bring the same flavor over to the United States. The customer service is great. The server and the cashier were very nice. I will eat there again.

The food was pretty good. The restaurant was clean . I arrived shortly before closing so I would definitely like to go back and try fresh hot food .

I sit between giving this place a 4/4.5 but I choose to give them a 5 because I can really feel this place is an important staple to the SOMD community and brings diversity needed here. This place is an express kitchen so you do expect it to at times be not as fresh/hot as a made to order dish. I got the spicy tofu place with kimchi cucumbers and japchae. The tofu was lukewarm but honestly delicious and I imagine it's a hard item to keep super fresh. I also got a side of the spicy potatoes and they are so good. What really made this meal wonderful for me was seeing the family take a break from cooking and sit down for a warm meal. Truly a family ran restaurant and you can feel the love. The place is immaculately clean and has a great vibe. I highly recommend stopping in for a quick bite.

The workers were really kind. They explained the menu to us and were patient. They have good seating and their beverage selection is great. I tried their bulgogi with rice and kimchi. The food was standard for Korean food and I will definitely be going back.

The food was delicious, it's pretty simple, just pick your proteins, then vegetables and such, I got white rich, Bulgogi, and some other stuff and then an egg! It was so flavorful, and I didn't expect it to taste so fresh and be so warm and such. the service was great too, love how welcoming they are to newcomers and people that are returning, next time I visit Maryland this will be my go too, and the overall vibe was welcoming and homey, nice decor sleek and some complimentary waterZ

Let me start by saying that the food here was good. It had been a while since I had eaten Korean food. And my first time at Woo's. I didn't really know what to expect, but this is like a lot of restaurants nowadays; choose your meat, then pic your Veggies/ sides (up to 4) as well as rice (white or brown). I expected them to fry or cook the sides. But they came as the were presented, and uncooked. I ordered the Gal Bi (grilled short ribs) with watercress, mushrooms, Kimchi, and Korean bean sprouts on white rice. The Gal Bi was amazing, and all of the sides tied in perfectly. Next time I'll try the spicey pork though. The service wasn't bad, it just felt a little flat. Inside was clean, and apart from a few people getting orders to go, we were the only ones there. Definitely worth checking out.

    Regular plate. Spicy tofu.

We came in for lunch and were helped right away. It's small in the inside with about 8 tables. The gentleman who took our orders was very friendly. I had a regular plate which consists of rice, meat or tofu and four sides. I had the spicy tofu, white rice, cucumber kimchi, regular kimchi, spicy noodles and Korean beat sprouts. The tofu and rice portions were huge. Everything was very flavorful. Although, I do wish the spicy tofu had a bit more spice/heat. I took off one star because the tofu was barely warm. Other than that, everything was very good. I will definitely be back.

Disclaimer: (1) Some viewers of my reviews may suspect they have recently begun leaning toward 4 or 5 stars. I don't accept my reviews are becoming inflated, but rather the employment of Yelp coupled with my increasingly more discriminatory process in selecting quality dining establishments - means I am dining at the best of the best in the area. (2) I have traveled throughout Korea for extended periods at least a dozen times - speaks to my credibility. Now the review. Woo's Kitchen for lunch today. Wow - first - customer service from the moment you enter - 5 stars - no question. Place looks, smells and IS CLEAN (Read: Spotless). Staff extremely well put together, polite, clean uniforms, spotless bathrooms, etc. Food: Regular plate with Korean spicy pork, mac salad, broccoli, watercress, and Spicy Korean noodle - 10 stars. A second dish of grilled pork - all fresh, clean tasting and wonderfully prepared. Tip: The Korean Spicy Pork took me back to one of the best Korean meals I have ever enjoyed - in Itaewon outside Seoul at a place called Maple Tree. Thank you Woo's Kitchen for a fantastic lunch, see you soon!

After breaking up with another Filipino establishment due to their horrific business practices, I…read moreknew I had to find another place that had housemade beef lumpia on the menu. This is a difficult feat, as most lumpia Shanghais are pork-filled; some offer chicken, but, honestly, it's just not flavorful. I saw that N &N, aka Nena's (on their sign), has a hot food bar as well as catering services. I double-checked that they had beef lumpia and made sure that they wouldn't run out by the time we got there (since it would be bit of a trek). You make your way to the end of the market, and you place your order(s); lumpia is made fresh-to-order, and I could see some of the staff filling and handrolling the lumpias in the kitchen - such a good sign! The lumpias came out piping hot, and I loved that N &N serves it with the sweet chili sauce (instead of that other weird sauce that other automatically include) - these were deep-fried, crispy, and the beef filling was flavorful and garlicky. There are also frozen lumpias that you can fry up at home, but the convenience of eating them right away is a plus! I'd love to try out their lunch combos and their empanadas on the next visit. Staff were very kind and sweet; the market itself had a good modest selection of items, and it was well-organized and clean. Payment is taken up at the cashier, located at the front. Located at the Saint Mary's Square Shopping Center, there's plenty of parking in the large plaza lot. +tasty beef lumpias! +friendly service +located at the Saint Mary's Square Shopping Center +ample parking in large plaza lot

Upon arrival, with a little hesitation, I decided to try the pancit as well. I had been meaning to try it for quite some time as it's one of their popular menu items, with nothing but time to spare why not today? Best decision I've made in quite some time haha. Of the various protein options I decided on the beef which was thin and tender just as I was hoping it'd be. The dish in it's entirety was flavorful, not the least bit spicy (as some Asian dishes are known to be), included bits of cabbage, carrots, red and green peppers giving you a nice crunch to compliment the textures of its accompaniments. It's plenty for one or even sharing. Need I mention the lechon? It was impecable per usual. Not too fatty nor greasy, just meaty and crispy. Being the Hispanic that I am, I'll best describe it as a cousin to the chicharrón, slightly different but both delectable in their own ways. If you haven't been to Nena's, do try it. Why not today? *My lucky day! Not only did I receive great food but I got a free 2025 dog calander at the register. Just thought I should show off and mention it lol.

I ordered the salmon avocado roll and spicy tuna roll. Both rolls were pretty warm despite it having raw fish in it because it was stacked under the piping hot chicken katsu. Waited a very long time just for drinks (about 5 minutes). When the server arrived with our drinks, he did ask us if we needed straws and we ended up getting it ourselves. I was thirsty and was waiting a while for our server to get me a refill. Please wasn't too busy with a few tables filled. We ordered steak and chicken hibachi dinners with soup or salad We waited quite a while for our salad which I prompted the server to get us sooner. While the salad was good, the soup came with our entrees (finally) so I didn't have a chance to partake in warm soup and risk the entree getting cold. The Steak was good but was a little too Well done for my taste. My partner s steak was also too well done. The serve seemed rushed when he delivered our food so I could asked for the Ginger sauce that I normally would have with the steak. The chicken, rice, and veggies were good but not as good as I would expect. Bottom line. The food was good, the service.. subpar. They seem to be geared towards take out orders because the service has been slow and abrupt as if they don't train them properly.
