The girl working was not only one of the rudest people I have ever come into contact with, but she also was hacking coughing while walking through the store angrily without a mask on. I came to this store to exchange pants that were given to me as a gift. The pants were too small. I walked in and right off the bat felt unwelcome. The lady working was unbelievably rude. Her shortness of words and very unpleasant facial expressions were more than enough to make me never come back. She told me "No, nope. Nothing I can do, nope." If this business wants people to come shop they should immediately terminate this woman's employment. I couldn't be more frustrated. read more

This review doesnt just apply to this Work N Gear in particular but to all Work N Gears that I have been to. If you are a plus size person, there are NO SCRUBS here. This place "claims" to have all sorts of scrubs but DO NOT! Everytime I go in there thinking I might get lucky with a size, im always shot down with "we dont have that size right now, or I can check another store". I have found way better places that carry bigger sizes AND carry styles that Work N Gear doesnt carry anymore. The only reason why I gave Work N Gear two stars is only because they have a decent selection for nursing shoes. I will only shop here when I need the shoes now. Other than that dont bother if your plus size to get your scrubs here. You dont wanna waste your time and gas to travel. read more

This review is for the Manchester, NH store. The old lady manager was very rude when I went to return some clothes I didn't use. She turned to the new hire, as I was returning unused clothes and said "You have to check them to make sure they haven't been worn, and the tags are still on." This old lady could have easily looked at them herself, and kept her low class mouth shut, until after I left, to teach the new hire. I've spent hundreds of dollars at this dump over the years, possibly a thousand or more, and I will never go here again because of the wretched blond (dyed blond, actually a ratty black color) who stands behind the counter and judges people (as if she's in a place to judge lolol)! I wouldn't even give this place one star, because of the "Work n Gear" old lady power trip. read more

This was my first time at this location and it was a terrible experience. Although they had a better selection than some other locations I've been to, the woman at the front was extremely rude, very pushy, and rushed me and my mother pretty much out the door. She had a bad attitude and I will not be returning to this location. Piece of advice, I understand everyone has an off day but this is your job. Retail isn't always the best most exciting job but treating people rudely will only cost the company customers. read more

went in to buy my first scrubs ever. place was very packed with racks leaving little room for shopping. the guy working was very rude. i was holding on to my hangers (i was using an organized system of what i had and what i liked) and he demanded to take them from me. also there are signs everywhere about bogo40. of course it excluded what i wanted to buy. i then mentioned i was a new member and that i signed up for the 10% off email. he said that was good for online only. i work at a harley dealership and when people mention promotions discounts or coupons we always accomodate them in some way. this guy had terrible customer service and for being my first time buying scrubs for my new exciting job and i am upset that i had a miserable experience. read more

I would not buy any chippewa boots there, especially if they are from china. The construction boots are 3 years old. I have been retired for 10 years. I have very good winter boots that have lasted me 20 years. I have 2 pair of sneakers, one for good and a pair to use in the yard. The chippewa boots are used in the winter,with no snow or ice. The problem with these boots is that the sole has come loose on the right boot 3/4 of it and 1/4 on the left boot. You can see where they had put 1/8 of glue to hold the rear sole in the middle, it coming apart starting with the heel. You would think they would glue the whole sole. But the didnt. The guy at work n gear said they are 3 years old, plus we didn't have a reciept. Sounds like he had a lot of problems with them. Or they might be selling seconds. But for 89 bucks? Will not do business with work n gear, or buy junk made in china. Red wing boots for ever. read more
