They left a message that a wrong adjuster was assigned and suggested I work directly with insurance. I became very frustrated and switched over to Levine Law. Karen told me that I'll get paid medical bills, car damage, etc. I continued to get more frustrated because I don't have the money for car loan payments (I notified the bank the day after the accident). Finally yesterday she called me and said that the Levine Law is closing my case because my medical bills of $3,300 are not high enough and I'll end up owing their law firm. What about promises of lost wages, car damages? Her advise: "if the agent keeps stalling try to speak to the supervisor".

I am going on 5 months with out work and nothing has been done by workmans comp for my injury. I was in no way trying to work the system and was completely honest with Dan and his paralegal. I was in the hospital so I did miss an important appointment and subsequently I was told that my case was dismissed by the judge. Being hospitalized was out of my control. I received less than $3000 and wasn't even paid for time lost. In addition my workplace is now saying I quit which is not even close to true. I was told by HR to provide a letter from my Dr. saying I could come back to work without restrictions so I was in the process of doing that. Most recently I was told by my work that they can't speak to me and that I needed to call coporate headquarters. When I asked Dan's paralegal she said I signed and had something noterized saying I quit. The only document I had noterized was to get the lousy settlement. I am not an attorney and spent months sending paperwork to Dan's office, which was a complete waste of time. Some of this does fall on my company and while it is legal for them to fire me it's highly unethical. Slipping paperwork saying I quit was extremely unethical on Dan and his paralegals part. What a joke and waste of my time and energy this was.
