In 2024 we thought that, maybe, we wanted to move after 15 years in the same house. We knew Priyanka from the sale of my late father-in-law's house (which went VERY well btw). We called Priyanka. She sat with us at least 4 times for well over an hour each time holding our hands and LISTENING. She TAUGHT us things about the ins & outs of the local market as only an insider can do. Out of a respect for us she NEVER pushed or rushed us. She let us make our own decision. Deciding to sell, we sat back and watched in awe at her coordination skills in helping us become "Curb-Ready". Contractors, landscaping, de-cluttering, STAGING ( ! ) and more fell in to place like Legos. When the house was ready there was one MAJOR problem. We did not want to live in it with our 3 dogs and 2 cats during showings. But the expense of a rental or hotel was astronomical. Priyanka solved the problem. SHE HAD A PLACE FOR ALL OF US!!! WOW! She helped us price our home PERFECTLY. I'll never forget that Sunday afternoon when we had a dream come true. A dream every seller holds close but is afraid to say out loud; A BIDDING WAR! $$$$$$!!!! But ,as happens, on the day we were to sign a contract on our NEW HOUSE out-of-state that seller had to back out due to health problems. Priyanka was right there helping us renegotiate the rent-back. She fought hard for everything when I was ready to give in and she made it painless to list. Every single thing was take care of and all we had to do was give her one weekend to show. It took me forever to agree to sell.... I just didn't want to deal with repairs or staging or any of the extra- by providing full service and many years of experience to guide her, Priyanka was able to help us get sold, in a leaseback, and into our new home all with best timeline possible. I will say she isn't a just a sale realtor- she pulled us out of SEVERAL homes for one reason or another stating it wasn't up to standards or there were things we would regret. She wouldn't let us offer more than a home was worth because we were "on a timeline"..... there were many experiences with realtors I've talked to that made me feel like they were only concerned about making their sale for commission.... Initially the call went really well and I very much appreciated the direction of some neighborhoods that I might consider looking at. This was very helpful. I ended up looking at one that was the closest to where we were currently living and started doing some home tours. We ended up setting up some viewings, but before the end of that day had decided to make an offer on the first neighborhood after looking at 5 homes. Yes, that quick. Resources: I was introduced to a fantastic inspection person. Additionally, I was introduced to a good finance person. Responsiveness: This is where I really struggled. Making a home purchase is a huge deal, and I need to be aware of what is happening. And what are the things that I should be looking out for and what I shouldn't be looking out for. I typically found myself having to reach out consistently to get updates to get guided on the process. For example, on closing day due to a scheduling change, the agent was not there because they were not informed of the time change and when she texted me for an update the response was it was news to her. I've only made 2 other home purchases but usually it's the agent that is letting the client know about updates to time, schedule things that are needed in all that. After I had taken the survey that was provided to me on the service I had gotten, I received text messages that I did not feel very professional in the response. I explained it was no hard feelings but it was just an okay experience and explained why. Lack of communication was a huge factor etc I will not post these as I feel that that it would be an invasion of privacy but in general it was inappropriate, not professional, and was said to make me feel guilty for putting a neutral response. I responded as such and asked not to be contacted further. All in all based on the lack of communication and the follow up texts sent after, I can't recommend. Again there were some good points but the response texts why this is a negative/neutral recommendation.
