Just a screenshot of the unprofessional text message I received after I called for a quote. I don't know specifically what this call was regarding as I was calling round for quotes on window tinting. I don't call anywhere to be rude and hang up. If the quote is too high I just say okay thank you. There was someone I spoke to that answered the phone annoyed like I had called their personal phone and when I asked if this was a business they said yes and proceeded to be short and rude and I finally said to them that usually companies answer the phone with the company name. I put out a bid to several tint places to work on my newly acquired 2001 BMW 325ci. For background, this car has seen better days especially the tint. The rear window is hard to get to and the low quality tint had been on the car for 20 years. I tried for an hour to get some of that tint off and I managed to scrape off a 2"x2" piece; no joke this was going to take someone with experience at least 2 hours to remove. The quote I received from Josh to remove and install new carbon tint (hey cut me some slack; it's a 20 year old car!) was probably $100 less than the next lowest bid. Added plus was that this was a mobile service; I've never tried that type of service but having that level of convenience with a car that I didn't need A++ work on was great. There was a back and forth for a day and then we scheduled for the next afternoon. He set up a tent in my backyard and went to work on removing the tint. I went to work in my office and came out three hours later and he was still scraping at the tint! I told him to don't worry about getting rid of the final tiny pieces but he insisted that it would need to come out for the new tint to look good. Ok fine back to the home office. I checked in every hour or so and he was done after about six(!!!) hours, with probably four hours spent removing the old tint. Was it perfect? No because the old tint made it impossible to be perfect. Was it near perfect? For me, definitely. Would I use Josh again for a nicer car? Absolutely. Summary: Pros: Low cost Extra effort to make your car look nice and overall good tint job Mobile Easy to work with and scheduling Cons: Not brand name tint Sole proprietor so will I be able to track him down in 2 years if its starts to bubble? (lifetime warranty) Be sure you know what level of tint you have in mind. Let's just say that Josh prefers dark to limo tint! read more

So I got my windows tinted beginning of October. Everything was fine and josh was great at first. He was attentive and told me all the things I wanted to hear. He had a good price and the fact that he came to me was also really cool and he promised a lifetime guarantee. He was friendly and told me he would be finished in less than 2 hours. He took close to 2 1/2 hours which is fine but the problem I'm having is now there is a bubble and he is no where to be found. I explained what happened and showed him a picture and reminded him that he has a lifetime guarantee and he stated that he would fix the problem. Well it's been 2 weeks and i have not heard from him. He is the only person working for this company. Not sure if it's a scam or what but take it from me and the other girl who is having the same problem and DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY! Yeah the price is good but if you pay by venmo or anything like that your shit out of luck. I got Josh's bid through Yelp for ceramic auto tinting on my new SUV. Josh was helpful over the phone and by text to answer detailed questions. His quote was very competitive for a mobile service. In fairness, he uses a lesser known brand of film to offer a better value. It is not a larger brand name like Suntek, 3M, or Xpel. I researched the film company and based on the spec sheet for the product line that Josh offers, I felt it was a good value for my needs. Josh showed up on time and communication was clear throughout. He made sure I knew the shade of tint I wanted by allowing me to closely look at his car for comparison. He completed the job on my driveway using a portable pop-up canopy to create shade on a hot afternoon. Although my car could've been left a bit cleaner than it was prior to the job, it was easy to wipe down surfaces where some of his film spray had dripped onto (mostly water). Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the work and the product itself after 3 weeks. Top Notch! I had an unusual request to install specialty turf shield window film that I had purchased to prevent my newly installed artificial grass from burning due to reflection from the glass.
